I highly doubt the first gym would be triple or rotation battle because the
battle would be very hard so I think triple battle in the rematches OR maybe
we can battle them later after many gyms, and I don't want to see double battle
in the last gym, In my opinion there will be a new gym leader like Juan in Emerald.

ReshiRAM, ZekROM, KyuREM, it's right there in the names. kinda like how the 4th gen mascots had similar endings.
and instead of grey which i think is boring, they should call it pokemon monochrome. as monochrome covers all colors out side the the rainbow
    now for my plot idea:
N asks you what you seek: ideals or truth
you pick one. this decides if you capture reshiram or zekrom.
you play through the game with minor adjustments here and there.
you get to N's castle and capture your dragon and battle N.
Gehtsis comes in and battles you, after you beat him he gets all mad and storms off.
    credits roll
you wake up in your room and the story continues!
you have to find all seven sages as looker gives you a hint about where each one is located.
after you find all seven sages, they finally tell you and looker what ghetsis secret plan B was: to find and capture kyurem to achieve his goal of being the only one with pokemon.
you are about to head off to the giant chasm where gehtsis is about to do some serious evil, but looker gives you some info on where N is located.
to progress any further you have to ride the train to annvile town to meet up with him on the bridge.
(annvile town because N has a toy train set in his room and he likes trains.)
you talk to him and he wants one more battle.
    you beat him.
he knows about his fathers plan because reshirem/zekrom told him (he can talk to pokemon remember)
you both fly to the giant chasm on your awesome dragon pokemon together (cool cut scene like N riding on his dragon)
you get there, N goes off ahead. and you fight your way through plasma grunts who stayed loyal to ghetsis of course. at the end of the grunts you face a triple battle against the shadow triad.
you get to the staircase and go up in the chamber. along the sides of the chamber are the elite four and alder, each one defeated by Gehtsis.
Gehtsis has a monolog about reshiram, zekrom, and kyurem. and you learn some back story about how they were all connected.
kyurem is summoned. battle between Gehtis and you and N with you dragons against his lv 80 kyurem.
you win and Gehtsis is taken into custody after Kyrem escapes and flys away.
every one thanks you and leaves.
you return to your house and it's cold.
you walk outside and there is snow every where.
an ice bridge has formed over the sea and you walk on it.
at the end of the bridge is Kyurem.
you battle it and capture it.
    END

But up until the main storyline is over, it's pretty much the same. Considering the third game should aim to expand it, shouldn't the other plot cut out some of B/W's plot and just happen before the elite four? Because yes, it extends the game, but I don't think people would be willing to playthrough something they've experienced before when if a new experience happens straight up (and not just minor changes), they're less likely to stop playing due to boredom. :(

Idk just my take on it. You know, N's castle could be extended to allow for Kyurem, and the giant chasm could hold the legendary you're not facing, with the one you -are- facing at Dragonspiral Tower. :3

I'd also like the Seven Sages to be fightable (if that's a word). It seemed like you were going to fight them at a few points, there were many setups for an epic duel against an old dude in a funny hat, and yet... Nope, they retreat. Dang. It's just a little weird how Team Plasma is the villain group with the highest amount of admins (including N, the Seven Sages, the Shadow Triad, Concordia and Anthea, they have a staggering total of thirteen), and yet the least amount of fightable admins, with only N and Ghetsis actually battling. This seems like a strange complaint, but the Seven Sages actually being willing to fight despite apparently being above using Pokemon as weapons would help foreshadow that they knew Ghetsis's plot all along... Yeah, I worded that in a weird manner, but the gist of it is that the Seven Sages should be fightable, it would be neat and help the story.

That's a good point. I was also expecting to be able to battle the seven sages. It would definitely give you more reason to play the game after the E4. Also, this probably won't happen with the third game, but I think they should eventually make a Pokemon game in which you can travel to every region, fight every gym leader, catch every Pokemon, participate in every Pokemon league, in which the player characters from the respective games for the regions are the champions.

My speculation is N will have both Reshiram and zekrom, when you arrive at the Pokemon league, it's too late for you because N have separated Pokemon and People, you can't battle Team Plasma because all of your Pokemons is gone also all the trainers, then Professor juniper calls you to go to Nacrene city, Lenora tells you about the god stone witch can awake Kyurem's origin form that the only one can return Pokemons to the trainers you go to find the stone then captures kyurem with a master ball, after that you will go to N's castle he tells you that it's useless to fight him because you have only one Pokemon then he summons reshiram and zekrom then suddenly the god stone makes kyurem transform into the origin form and all of your Pokemons are back, N's is shocked and he decided to battle you, you are the only hope for the unova rejoin, you battle N and defeat him, all the pokemons returns to the trainers then Ghetsis come and tells the true goal of team plasma you defeat him then you can battle the elite four and the champion, the main storyline ends here.

I think they might make all regions accessible.

N will have both Reshiram and Zekrom.

Maybe even a trick to get all starters similar to Yellow.

I hope for walking Pokemon to return!

I do think a bit more to the story will be released. Similarly to Platinum, the story should reveal a bit more about the history of some characters such as: Cheren, N (all we know is the Ghetsis could possibly be his father) and Professor Juniper as I think they are important enough to have their histories revealed further.

As for gameplay, I just think that they should improve the little things (again like Platinum) which always make a huge difference. I would definitley love to see the touch screen being utilised a lot more, like Heart Gold and Soul Silver.

As for names, I just hope it isn't 'Grey'. Pokémon developers can come up with something better than 'Grey', in my opinion.

Hey guys, time for something we haven't discussed much recently since we need good speculation going on.

How would you feel if a few more towns/cities were added in the third game (not connected to "Grey _____"), and that the third game was set a few years after B/W, allowing the land to expand and actually develop to the top left or so (or even the land building, so it's construction up there, with the construction behind Castelia gone, and being a whole new area you can access - if so, what'd you like to see there?). And if the upper part of Unova expands, what would be featured in those locations? If this occured, how'd you like to see other cities expanded, too?

Also! Would you be more likely to purchase the third game with more of an enhanced region, or more of an enhanced storyline? Since really, there's a high chance they'll concentrate on just one of the two and the other won't have much effort put into it, tbh. And sadly I think it'll be the size of the region. And as what was pointed out was that the storyline is always expanded, but to what extent do you WANT it to be expanded? Wouldn't the experience be more enjoyable if the storyline didn't differ as much pre-e4, but you had a whole lot more to explore with sub storylines?

Idk just some things to think about. :D Since all we ever seem to do here is concentrate on the storyline, the mascot and the game names. Be creative in speculation guys!

That would be interesting. Adding more towns as in like ones from the anime? I believe there will be an expansion of the story line, similar to platinum I would say. Sub story lines would be awesome for the third game, instead of just following the main story you could go off and do other side stories. :o

Maybe new sets of clothes. (Similar to emerald and platinum.) And perhaps an expansion. (battle tower/etc)

In BW, the dialogue with some of the NPC's reveals Relic Tower to be the place where the 'Hero' and the dragon Pokemon hung out. I'd be willing to bet Relic Tower will have something to do with the legendary dragon in any third game.

    OR

Say the third game will be 'Grey' or something. In Grey, Giant Chasm (assuming Kyurem is the mascot) would probably get a facelift to a new form (much like Kyurem itself) Or something like that.

if that happened it would feel a bit similar to Kanto did in GSCHgSs when compared to gen I and III kanto...It would be interesting to see though...and it shoulds fun...
Yeah it would be intresting...maybe they could tell us where exactly N and Geechisu went (hopefully that would confirm my Hoenn and Sinnoh respectively theory)...and if they do confirm N when to Hoenn in the third version in come the remakes, it would be a great tie in ^_^
Part of me thinks the game might be Crimson or Scarlet...reason is cause in the Musical you get three capes one Black, one white and one scarlet one plus they copy righted Crimson along with Grey when BW were...

maybe it'll be called somewhere along the lines of Pokemon Dimensions since it probly will be on the 3DS exclusively

3ds exclusive? no, just no! it has to be compatible with black and white and a 3ds exclusive title won't and we're still due for 2 more gen 5 games and they have to be compatible with black and white too. maybe gen 6 will be 3ds exclusive.

face a triple battle against the shadow triad.

the triad could be holding Dialga, Palkia, and Giratana(origin forme of course cause they each would've been holding it's stone)

wait 3 ds games aren't compadable with normal ds games...I thought they were...
any way I think that it would be cool if the shadow triad did have the sinnoh trio...maybe more reason for cynthia to be in Unova !

dieter57 I like your speculation, i feel like the third game has been spoilered for me because it sounds really good xD

    thanks XD

and aren't the shadow triad from another region? 0.o
but the D/P/P trio? it doesn't fit into the story that well. maybe more for after the main story.
and i like the idea of facing the six other sages. (gehtsis is number 7)
