Nothing beats a reliable network :) Getting unexpected network issues cam be very annoying if you're very connected.

Well, it's an ISP. There's bound to be downtime every now and then.. but just no random disconnects at all unlike some other ISPs out there.

Sometimes it does feel funny that a gaming laptop (and a "proper" one) doesn't have to be a brick today.

Well, as they all say, technology is getting more and more compact :P

I replaced my earbuds today with the same style, just in a different color.

Technology amazes me. In my opinion it represents the true capacity of the left side of the human brain. :v
Considering how much technology tends to follow a consistent path, I'm bound to agree with this statement. To keep in the earbuds topic, it's getting more and more difficult to find earbuds in the older style that didn't have to be pushed in at a certain angle. Nowadays you have the Skullcandy-style earbuds that are smaller and provide more bass and are noise-cancelling.

As I've found out the hard way, well, it never hurts to try a different kind of in-ears just in case.

I would've bought a Windows Phone for myself, but... I don't know, their interface just don't seem that attractive to me. :(

It's definitely looking to be improved for Windows Phone 8.1 though.

Perhaps because the icons are too flat? For some reason, I'm oddly attracted to the Metro theme, but I wouldn't want to use it on any of my devices XD

Anything with a flash on the camera and at least a 720p display. :3
Flash for a phone's camera does seem like a necessary accessory, especially for photography in a dark setting. xD

To be honest, the flatness of the Metro theme doesn't bother me at all with Windows Phone. If there was something that did bother me WP, it'd be the fact that it's severely underrated in terms of app development.

I tend to use LED flashes as a torch. They're not much good for actually taking photos under most circumstances.

I want a flash on my camera! You know, to use as a flashlight! What else would you use a flash on the camera for anyway?

Sometimes I can't actually believe how bright those camera LEDs are, and I've been in a dark room with a bunch of people pulling their phones out to use the LEDs as flashlights as well.

Not all camera flashes are the same. LED-based flashes can actually hold, so it's good for continuous illumination. Useful for video and lighting things up in a pinch. Xenon-based flashes actually flash and will freeze pretty much everything without exception, but they can't be lit continuously. Dual LED flashes are quite a bit more powerful than single LED flashes, seeing as there are two of them, and some are actually powerful enough to freeze subjects if pulsed.

When it comes to flash strength, it'd be easy to say that it goes like this:
Xenon-based > dual-LED > single-LED

Sometimes I can't actually believe how bright those camera LEDs are, and I've been in a dark room with a bunch of people pulling their phones out to use the LEDs as flashlights as well.

I've always thought of actual flashlights as less bright and evenly spread than the LED flashes found in modern smartphones. :P

Yeah, that's probably it. xD" I'm not too sure about this, but I've heard that they're also limited in terms of customization, which makes me want to turn away from them a little more.
