Help for Pokemon Bank+Transporter

So I have some Pokémon which were originally caught in my rom version of Diamond which I then transferred to a legit copy of Soul Silver I then transferred these to A legit copy of white and I'm wondering if Pokémon bank will detect that these were originally caught in a rom version of Diamond.

Many Thanks, ShadowSlashz :)

Hm, you should be fine as long as you've transferred the ROM Pokemon to an actual game first. I would go ahead and try it, regardless it will not mess up your game or anything.

Do Transform Work on Sketch?

I don't know if this is the right place for this question, but here it is:

My pokemon use transform on a Smeargle and so temporarily get sketch. If my pokemon (now Smeargle) use Skech on an attack, will it get that attack temporarily?

If it's possible it would mean that any pokemon knowing transform could learn ANY attack.

I read that Mimic cannot copy Sketch, so I'm afraid it's the same for transform, but I cannot find anything that confirms my fear. Can you help me?

I honestly didn't know the answer off the top of my head, but I did some research, and apparently this was possible in GSC, but I believe they 'fixed' the glitch so I don't think it's possible in later generations. And nope, Mimic cannot copy Sketch, Struggle, Metronome, and Chatter.

I don't think this goes here, but I need help

A while ago, I tried to start up my pokemon black. It said "The save file could not be accessed" After this happening everytime, I decided to do some research. After some digging, I realized the save file could never be accessed again. (My friend had used Action Replay on it). I have recently been playing SoulSilver lately, and would like to transfer some of my pokemon. But my pokemon black is not working. I would prefer not to buy another 5th gen game. (I don't really like 5th gen THAT well). Is there anyway I can delete the save file without getting to the menu? (As on startup it displays, "The Save File Could Not Be Accessed")

Yes, it can be deleted. Simply press Up, Select, and B at the same time while you are on the title screen, it should ask if youre sure you want to delete the file.

If that doesn't work, then... you're screwed.

I literally said, I can't get to the title screen.

I'm split here because the prices are about the same. A save dongle I've found goes for like 40, and 5th gen games go for like 30-35. Lucky me doesn't have the money for either.

Alright so can someone explain what's the difference between Constrict, Bind, and Wrap, language wise? They all do the same thing to opponent, right?

Constrict
1 turn move, has a chance of lowering speed and has a base damage of 10. 100% accuracy.

Bind
4-5 turn move, 15 base power, 85% accuracy, does extra damage on it's final turn depending on the user's max HP.

Wrap
4-5 turn move, 15 base power, 90% accuracy, does extra damage on the final turn depending on the user's max HP.

So the latter two are the ones that are most similar, with Wrap technically being better because of the accuracy boost.

Bind and Wrap also get a damage increase from a Binding Band, while Constrict does not.

Thanks, I do get that though, I am asking if they all mean the same thing, language wise? They all mean that one Pokemon is wrapping itself around another, right?

I would assume yes?

Either that or they're using something else, like their tentacles or their vines.

Yes, they are different attacks used by different Pokemon. I'm sure that all three are almost identical, such as one is constricted if they are in Bind.

Natures in games vs competitive play

Ever since the start of the Pokémon games, I've always had the same mind set. That being, I'll only generally use a Pokémon on my team if it can hit hard or tank hits (sometimes just because I'm fond of a certain Pokémon).

Now, I've been watching LP's on YouTube for a couple of years now and some of them (the ones I watch the most) frequently mention how a Pokémon they've just caught has got a bad nature.
Do natures even have an effect in playthroughs or is it just limited to competitive battling?
I assume they do have an effect in-game but is it as important as it is with battling OR will it not make a difference if I ignore nature's in my playthroughs?

Some natures make slight changes to your stats, while others don't do anything at all. Competitively, they are useful to a certain degree, but in-game, though, they're not really that important. If you're planning to use your Pokémon in online battles, then you should definitely take these things into consideration. If not, then you'd probably be better off ignoring them. :] I hope this helps!

Yeah that does help. Cheers for that.
I assumed they didn't make much difference in-game considering the only people I'd heard mention nature's in a play through were those who do a lot of WiFi battles. Good to know I can just carry on ignoring them anyway :)

FireRed Omega

Wasn't really sure where to put this thread since it's not actually a real game...

Does anyone know if Omega on an EZ Flash would be able to trade with a regular copy of firered through a link cable? I want to play the game but knowing that you can't get the other 2 starters is going to bother me too much.
