I don't know if anyone has posted this before, but here I go... going to give it a shot!

I was looking over these two images, and noticed how they reflect one another. There's differences in every aspect EXCEPT for that triangle shape in the sky. Now, I have THREE theories to what this can mean:
    1) It represents the Delta symbol (∆), and can hint at Rayquaza descending from the sky to calm the two primal beings. This would shed some light on the Delta Emerald fiasco.
    2) This can be Deoxys descending from outer space. My two reasons for this is, one, that in games like FR & LF Deoxys was to be summoned from a triangular plate. Two, Deoxys came from outerspace in the form of a virus. Not in his normal stage. Possibly the reason for it being a simple triangular shape.
    3) My last and personally, the most "Farfetch'd", is that it is Jirachi as a shooting star. This is unlikely for me because Jirachi is not related to Groudon/Kyogre... HOWEVER, I put this here because it looks like a shooting something haha, and I would love to see Jirachi in these remakes outside of an event.

This is my analysis, I'd love to hear some feedback.

I brought up the possibility that it could hint at Rayquaza when it came out. Even though some think it could be deoxys I still think it's probably Rayquaza.

I agree on it being rayquaza since it is another mascot. It wouldn't make sense to have not have him involved in the artwork somehow, unless delta emerald is actually going to be a thing. Which is as likely as Pokemon gray was a few years ago.

Yeah. It's presence seems to hint at it's role. Perhaps Rayquaza could appear after all, stopping the mascots, or at least our mascot from fighting. Like maybe Steven could research on the cave and wonder what that falling star/meteor/comet thing is.

I can definitely see Rayquaza taking part in the plot, as a shoutout to Emerald! The possibility of Delta Emerald coming out is also there, though I sort of have my doubts. I've noticed that with a lot of the "third" games GF tends to fix flaws from the previous two games, and if they're making remakes, then I would assume they'd want to make sure they implement most, if not all what the third game fixed while still keeping the games like their predecessors. (In ORAS's case, there'd be the inclusion of the Battle Frontier and Gym Leader rematches, for example.) That being said, GF could always make Delta Emerald with Emerald's plot and keep all the features ORAS had (and fix any other flaws they may have). It'd certainly be different, and given how much people wanted RSE remakes and how hyped they are now, it might be a good marketing move, too.

I'm sort of hoping that they'll save Delta Emerald if they ever plan to make a re-remake long down the road. (I think that if GF ever plans to remake remakes they should use the third version rather than the originals. For example we could get WaterBlue...and LightningYellow (?) since people are calling for FRLG remakes, and 'MindCrystal' for HGSS).
I hope they include it in the plot, if not in the Emerald way in another.

I don't have anything against a Delta Emerald game existing, as long as they don't make the features like Battle Frontier and gym rematches exclusive to Delta Emerald and leave them out of ORAS. It'd be much simpler to just include everything in ORAS, along with Rayquaza and the possibility of its Primal form.

It could be one of the Lati twins for each version, too, since their jet-like shape could be construed to make them look like triangles when looked at from far away, but I'm betting that this 'delta' triangle is going to represent Rayquaza since that's what will most likely happen.

Who's discussing the possibility of FR/LG remakes besides us earlier in this thread, and where? If GameFreak made these, I wouldn't mind if they were called something like either 'FirestormRed' or 'ArcYellow' and 'TsunamiBlue.'

With the way game freak has been going on a roll, i seriously don't see any re-remakes at any given time, ever. It could happen but I doubt that. I foresee new regions and new pokemon a long time before they would do re-remakes. That is the more profitable route and a better strategy for keeping the games a live. As hyped as I am for ORAS, I would have been twice as excited for a brand new installment with brand new pokemon to search for as shinies.

I'd like to see re-remakes of the "third" games at some point; as for how soon they'll come out, I'm uncertain. Because FRLG are no longer playable on the newer handhelds, it's possible GF will remake the first gen. games yet again and release them soon--maybe around Gen. VII. Conversely, they could also make RGBY available on the eShop. I'd also assume at some point they'll start putting GBA games on the eShop, even if it's for the next generation handheld; if that happens, they can make FRLG available. Thus, the re-remakes could be put off 'til much later, or not happen at all.

Well the 20th anniversary for Pokémon is coming up soon, which will likely be the end of this generation...so maybe that would be a good point to do so...but it'll mean HGSS remakes in 5 or so years...and we just got those...so maybe 25th anniversary for GS. I say the third version as it's easier to just make one game. Heck, they could even release them in the same year as what ever the new games are like how FrLG came out the same year as Emerald 10 years ago in Japan.

Anyways back to ORAS, I hope that they redesign the Sky Pillar to resemble the Embedded tower, but with the stairs connected as they were broken in that Embedded tower. Imagine a spiral staircase, the camera can move similar to the tomb building in Unova.

    As long as they keep the bike puzzles that young me couldn't wrap his head around ;_;

More floors to Sky Pillar would be fun, especially if they added in more bike puzzles |D;; Those were always a pain in the butt for me, but I still found them fun to do nevertheless.

Considering that they have Sky Pillar covered up it could signal that maybe they did make it taller :) . Or at least redesigned it on the outside. Maybe it has Delta signs over it signaling at Primal Rayquaza.

I wonder if the Sky Pillar bike puzzles return, if they'll make the puzzles more elaborate, using the full extent if the 3D to make them even more of a pain.

Actually, I hope that the Sky Pillar is the same, since I kinda find the puzzle all too hard in RSE. Maybe they can have another place have the bike puzzles? We kinda had them in Granite Cave and in Mirage Tower. Also, I want more bike puzzles for the Acro Bike.

Wasn't the Sky Pillar's puzzle designed for the Mach Bike?
Maybe they can update it so players will have an option of getting through that dungeon with either the Mach or Acro bike puzzles. =/

Also, will the next CoroCoro sneak peaks be available next week? ^^

Yes, the original Sky Pillar's puzzle was designed for the Mach Bike.

OH maybe they can add a parkour-esque puzzle for the Acro Bike? Since they kinda allow diagonal movement, I kinda hope it happens. x3

About the CoroCoro sneaks, yeah, I'm pretty sure they will be available.

Yeah, Sky Pillar limited you to only using Mach Bike. It'd be really nice to see them lift that, and allow us to use Acro, too! Perhaps they could add new rooms, which would contain broken floors that you'd have to get through by jumping around with Acro Bike? Perhaps they could also add some slider of sorts, which you would have to get through with slow-paced bicycles only--Acro.
