Anyone here enjoy alcohol from time to time?
Rum, tequila, and vodka are my preferred poisons. I don't drink to socialize, I drink to get so drunk that I either start rambling about philosophical ******** or to get a mixture between murderous levels of rage and giddy as all hell as far as feelings go.
Well look at my age? Do I need to tell you?
... Okay, no I don't. Nor will I ever since I am a Christian and we don't believe in drinking. Though that doesn't stop a lot of people...
Wait uh...Christians drink wine literally as part of their service. Jesus made a huge deal about creating wine! I am questioning this interpretation of Christianity.
For a non alcoholic alternative, there is grape juice at communions for people to have in place of wine. Not sure if this is a widespread practice but it's what happened at my church back when I used to be religious.
Just saiyan.
I know that it's an option and not required, but I highly doubt churches would offer something to their members that's a sin for them to accept.

Anyway plenty of 15 year olds drink anyway. I never did cause I was ~~too cool~~ much like you. My mom used to offer me her wine and I would tell her it was disgusting. Now we gladly drink together! (because my mom is the best)
See, the thing is that a lot of Christians are divided when it comes to views on Alcohol. Some say that it's okay in moderation, some believe in abstaining from alcohol. It really depends on the denomination as they can be very in their views and traditions. So maybe I could have been more specific. And, not to be rude, but my religious beliefs are none of your business.
Also, it doesn't matter if "Plenty" of 15 year olds drink. In the state a Live it's illegal to drink under the age of 21. And once again, the reason I don't drink is because of my religious beliefs, not because I'm "~~too cool~~" to drink.

Abstentionists believe that although alcohol consumption is not inherently sinful or necessarily to be avoided in all circumstances, it is generally not the wisest or most prudent choice. While most abstentionists do not require abstinence from alcohol for membership in their churches, they do often require it for leadership positions.
