If there's people out there right now that have CoroCoro(not the Ichiban thing that I had linked thinking tat was it), they might be taking their time going through the magazine as we speak. Even when Serebii is posting stuff, it takes them a little bit posting everything, depending on the amount of content. I imagine that Pokemon isn't the only reason why the customers would be buying CoroCoro to begin with.

This is likely what I'm suspecting. They might just be revealing it slower than usual.

But they're surely trying, and they can't get it. This is strange.

In all the ORAS leaks there was only one time (november's corocoro) that the leak was 2 days before. and it contained the emerald delta story.

Huge info coming next month apparently. Don't know if there's anything else coming this month in the mag but they'll reveal the actual box art next issue so that should give us a release date.

So much for "new" information... it looks like we may be following the same pattern of news close to the pattern we had for Black & White, because I recall the first real pieces of new information came post-game announcement was revealed in May as well.

It was, but BW was revealed in April, not February. Also, they didn't actually say it was going to be 'new' news. It's Pokenchi all over again folks. This time it was Xander and I who did the warning.

Well done for calling it. Anyways, one of the mods at Serebii forums mentioned the pattern we had for news regarding previous games. So, credit to Wulava at Serebii for this:

Platinum was announced May 2008. May CoroCoro only showed Giratina's alternate forme. June issue showed the starters, updated designs of Lucas and Dawn, Looker, Charon, region overview, and Sky-forme Shaymin.

HGSS was announced May 2009. It only showed the logo. But during that month, Smash(?) gave us a small teaser trailer of HGSS. Also during that month, CoroCoro revealed Ethan and Lyra, starters, and preview of the region.

BW was announced April 2010. April issue of CoroCoro only contained screenshots of the Unova region. May issue showed Hilbert and Hilda, as well as the starters. Also during that month, Mascot legends were revealed, but outside of CoroCoro.

B2W2 was announced February 2012 and it only showed the mascot legends. March issue gave nothing. April gaves us a blowout; it showed the Mascot legends, Nate and ROsa, Hugh, Colress, Marlon, Roxie, and the region overview.

XY was revealed at a Direct in January 2013, that already showed the main characters, starters, legends, and the region. February issue only showed Sylveon. March showed nothing. April showed Mega Mewtwo Y. By May, they showcased new Pokemon (Pancham, Fletchling, Gogoat, Helioptile) along with starters and mascot Legends. The official site also updated for the first time with all the info they have revealed since the Direct in January.

ORAS was announced May 2014, with a teaser trailer that just showed the boxart and mascot legends. June issue contained the Mega Evos of starters and Mega Diancie, Brenday and May, Steven, Team Aqua and Magma.

SM was announced February 2016, with a teaser trailer showing concept art, and a wire-frame of a bird Pokemon. March gave nothing. April has blank boxarts and Magearna's typing.

Looking at this, the pattern for news seems very close to B2/W2 at this rate, only that it's going to be May that likely releases new information as opposed to April.

Just one to put a little note here, June issue mentioned here is actually called the July issue (but the one that came out in June) in case anyone is confused. May for OrAs didn't reveal much. I'm not sure why Joe (serebii) is saying OrAs fits the major reveal in May pattern. It was just an announcement and a little clip of the legends...

Not disappointed at all. In fact, I'm even more hyped than ever. Next month, and probably June too with E3 coming, are gonna be huge.

I guess E3 may be a contender to reveal something major at this rate. Like how we knew Fairy-type was going to be a thing and revealing some new Pokemon as well.

Well at least we know we will get the Box Art next month. Possibly the Legendaries. I am glad they confirmed the typing for Magerna, even though it was pretty obvious.

The rest of the corocoro leaks will probably be out on the 15th, which will include the the small trailer and screenshots of what we have already seen.

I do like the colors of the box art. Orange and Purple. I am actually doing a fanfic over an Orange and Purple now lol.

From what I've been able to tell, I think tensions had initially started back when Zygarde Formes were revealed in September of last year. People had expected a main series game announcement to follow shortly after the Zygarde Formes in the same vein of Giratina Origin Forme and White/Black Kyurem, but ended up waiting about 5-6 months until Sun and Moon were revealed. Not to mention this is all on top of us being slapped with Gen 7 when the majority of us expected a 3rd version/sequel "Z".

It's all kinda funny really, seeing all the carnage that has amassed in the fandom. :P

Really a lot of this rage is just a redirected misconception thanks to the over hyped Pokenchi. If Gian and a few others did not hype Pokenchi falsely and did a bit more research or used a little more levelheadedness then a lot of this could have been avoided.

We'd still have the disgruntled, "It's been xx Months. Why is there no actual info yet?" people but not nearly as much as we do right now. If the "e-celebs" didn't use blatant click bait to boost their own personal views and over hyped nothing that was actually promised, then everything would be a bit more mellowed out.

What we all need to do is just chill. I said this before with Pokenchi. Serebii is saying this now and I'm seeing a lot more people starting to adopt this. Take all the info we get at face value only. So far based on the new CoroCoro the only thing we can expect next are something related to the box art. That's pretty much all we should expect and even still this is not a promise. We had censored box art present. Could mean they'll reveal box art next month. This doesn't mean that they will or that they will release the legends for SunMoon cause I already know a lot of people are hyping that up due to correlation.

We don't know if they'll use legends on the box cover. They could change things up for us this time around. We could get the box art before CoroCoro as well if GF and TPC want to share that.

The face value is that we can expect some news in the next issue. We aren't promised any more than this right now. A lot can happen in a month.

Remember how Reshiram, Zekrom, and their respective boxarts, were revealed on the official sites before being covered in CoroCoro? I think we're gonna get a similar situation.

I think the fact that they showed us censored boxarts means that they're completed and ready to be shown to the public. Since these games are likely getting a worldwide release, I'm thinking we could possibly see a worldwide reveal of the boxarts and release dates on the official sites within the next few weeks.
