So, if'n I'm understanding correctly, Spirited Away won't be getting its update post for a few shakes. Should Errol, Blair, and Druag treat the mini-updates from Amaryllis as a time-keeper until Castiel gets back, then? They're all milling among themselves and don't require any response from him, after all.

And when I say time-keeper, I mean that it seems to be the general norm for people to post once per GM update, so should those three use the half-updates from Forget-Me-Not as their cue since the update on Castiel's side may be delayed?

Everything going down with Varien & Foes is going to span a chunk of time, so don't be concerned about Castiel.

Amaryllis posts will keep track of time on Forget-Me-Not's end so that her side syncs up chronologically when Varien & Foes' joint post goes up. She will be going about it a few minutes at a time, so once someone posts on your end back at base, I'll also work to take into account what your lot does. We have to be mindful of how much everyone's characters in the stores get done, though again, it ultimately falls on me to round out the pacing.

All I want you guys in-store to do is focus on building your project to a point that you all feel is nearly complete. No bumbling around. Have something for Castiel to get back to. I'm not too concerned with anyone posting too many times or getting too much done because realistically, you all are pacing yourselves fairly well when you do post, and you lot don't seem to post more than maybe twice a week anyhow due to personal schedules, so however you coordinate it, if you feel you may be overshooting, you can always consult me prior to a post. But just get to work. Spirited Away officially only has a table and a cloth in their project area. Forget-Me-Not only has one large vase in theirs.

There's no mincing. This project is our first hurdle. Show me you guys can work together and construct something, because next project you have to do, you'll have even less time to get yourselves together and make it happen.

I'm currently trying to finish up this basic Forget-Me-Not comic since I personally feel like it's long overdue right now, but the damn heat in this house is drying up my eyes so fast that staring at the screen for these periods of time to "paint" is messing with me. I'm taking my 30 minute break.

I think for this godawful spring, until I get this air conditioning fixed, the next few comics will be more free-form with minimal color, just to keep me sane and so I don't stall so terribly like I have.

On another note, I'm starting to think about... pairs. Which employees do you think will make for interesting pairs? This isn't... you know, not romantic, just who do you think would suit each other, for whatever reason?

I'm not considering your answers for a future mission, no way.

Finally finished up my post! Expanded upon Cicaro's first meeting with Amaryllis that was briefly mentioned before in a past post of mine.

That's so exciting! Personally, I'd love to just see more comics in general, and while coloring proves how good of an artist you are, having more comics regardless certainly improves this rp's allure, uniqueness, and sense of camaraderie.

In fact, if I ever find myself with some excess of time, I might fashion up a sprite comic or fan art, if that wouldn't be too out of the question.

On another note, I'm starting to think about... pairs.

Despite Cicaro's multiple homoships, I feel like the most fun he has is combating Amaryllis, since their familiarity and habits tend to make for interesting dialogue.

As for employees, I'm surprised that Rina and Cicaro haven't even truly met and would love an opportunity to throw them at eachother. Spora and Varien might prove strange and begrudging bedfellows, and I think I'd love the challenge of trying to sustain the certain gag Grelzar and I made up for our characters while put together for a mission.

Also a Blair x Errol combo would be funny.

I'm afraid I've no mind for pairing. I've the unhealthy habit of crack-shipping with almost no provocation, and I never had a mind for how partnerships work ...
Of course, as long as I'm talking, though, I gotta say I think there's the potential of a deeper friendship forming if Rina and Spora ever got into an actual conversation and got past their respective brands of antisocialism.

1) Could you imagine the thinly sugarcoated home truths between Amaryllis and Errol's mother, if they ever met? Honestly though, concerning only Errol, I think Amaryllis would find him somewhat endearing, like a small child, or a pet fish that you buy at the carnival

2) Fox's picture is not canon. I could probably see it working, only because I'm imagining Samuel's father to have the politeness and amicability of Reginald, our mystery guest.

We can do cross-store pairs, too! I never specified restrictions. Varien and Gabriel are both willing to get cozy with their boss for personal success, but Varien does it out of his misguided pride and desire for popularity, and Gabriel is... well, let's be honest here. Gabe is an eager young man and he's been trained to please.

I think Blair x Spora would be a salty pair, if Spora didn't have any of this apparent type racism that Samuel's got, but against Fire-types. And if Blair wasn't wigged out by that giant mushroom like every other character that's ever interacted with her is.

It always feels like a good way to round out your character when you flesh out backstory, especially in a role-play like this when it's building a pre-established relationship with another character. I know STARDU5T mentioned that Silver had interacted with Goro before and they apparently had a nice time when they did (or from her perspective anyway) so I might make a comic that lampshades this supposed incident, because I think that'd be fun.

As for comics, coloring is such a pain. I can do value scales which only focus on light, but when you add color, you have to consider that different colors have different value scales. Like, on a scale of 1-10, red with a value of 5 is not the same as white with a value of 5. So in this FMN comic where it's dark but not as dark as the SA comic, I have to consider what colors are darker or lighter than what, in the dark. What a drag. *Shikamaru sigh*
