Nice post, Orx. I think I'm especially invested in your character's development throughout the story, since you make it abundantly clear that he has his own hang-ups he needs to surmount, but old habits--even internalized self-deprecation--die hard.

Alright everyone, I partially updated the Story Thus Far section of post #2. I wrote up to the point that Goro interacts with Rina for the first time, so I have maybe a third of 5 AM left to recap. If you see any errors thus far, please tell me so that I may correct them.

Right now, it's bed time for me. I'll continue later tomorrow.

Sorry for being slow to post again, my computer is slowly but surely biting the dust. I had to do a hard reset on it, wipe the main drive, and reinstall my OS, so things are taking a while. I should have something up in the next couple of days, if my computer doesn't crap out again.

APPEARANCE: Chandler looks like every other pikachu that works at Pikachu Inc. ^tm. He wears grey slacks and a dull button down.

PERSONALITY: Chandler is a friendly guy with a desk job. But after suffering from a midlife crisis he is now applying to spirited away to try To have some fun.

BACKGROUND: After rising the ranks at Pikachu Inc ^tm using his "play nice" ability Chandler has grown bored and fat. He has watched all of the shenanigans going on between Spirited away and Forget-me-not from the windows of his versions offices and has been jealous of the minimum wage poke-workers having fun down there. Chandler is going to quit his job and apply to Spirited Away, because they seem cooler, and have fun too.

While I appreciate the enthusiasm you have for this role-play to the point where you posted an application despite the cast being full for a while, even if someone were to get fired or incarcerated, I can't accept this application because it would be akin to accepting a reserve, like, months in advance.

I was actually exasperated when I read Samuel slobbering everywhere. It's like you want him to just chip away slowly but surely at nerves. And before I forget another thing, the scream wasn't from Amaryllis, it was from Rina. Do edit your post to reflect that correction, mate.

Chandler did everything he could to get his job back, but after pooping in his bosses coffee they wouldn't let him back on the premise, even as a janitor. He left town and was never seen again. Until....

Castiel and Amaryllis are such guilty parties that they are always reacting drastically to his presence, so it makes sense from an employee's perspective that he's just a constant threat.

Pretenses aside, he's just big, brief, and blunt. But he isn't Reginald's right hand man for nothing~~~~

Oh, I'm afraid I'm much less an artist than a designer, really. I hesitate to call them drawings because I've a bad habit of leaving them only half-finished, and I was always more of a world-builder than an illustrator, it just helps me visualize some of my more bizarre ideas for other people. Of course, I don't have access to a scanner or a drawing pad so I wouldn't be able to put it through here anyway. On the other hand, if I get enough open time I'd likely be able to bypass those problems buuuuut ... As it stands I never did draw up that kelp-covered claw monster I thought of or that large undead ruminant that essentially acted as a mobile hive for predatory worms soooo ... I have, like, ten other things I have to pretend to do first.
Also: no offense to Mr. Jauntier, but my knowledge on pornographic creation patterns (and, boy, is it expansive) suggests it would be unlikely we'd be getting CoTM porn. Well, unless our audience reaches the quadruple digits, which I kind of don't think it has. And then it would likely revolve around Cicaro--ah, there I go again. I've a rather scientific interest in porn, I find, but I should probably not reveal that to people that are still getting to me know me.

Hmm, given that Pokemon is, after all, of Japanese origin, karaoke seems to be a most proper thematic fit, but that's just my opinion. For some reason, though, I can see the Pokemon (ie not the humans) being more inclined to a dance party, although an improv skit would be a quite curious expounding of characterization, when we have to write in-character for our character in the character of our character's assigned character.

... Hm. You know, between this post and the last I think I might need to catch up on sleep.
