People who are curious on what masteries to Run for Diana? Please read my delicious post.

Even though I hate Thunderlord's on Diana, I can't imagine Deathfire Touch is very useful in the jungle. SotA sounds pretty good for a tanky bruiser Diana though, and it seems to me this build focuses on auto attacking, so I may try out SotA first then Thunderlord's.

Thanks to the wonders of Gewgle, here's the EXACT masteries that I use for Devourer Diana:

http://gameinfo.na.leagueoflegends.com/en/game-info/summoners/masteries/#5.3aWibQPaf.Hp966Ko00

=> Thunderlords for the early game burst. Getting 5/5 Runic Shields is too important IMO so even without anything from the Ferocity Tree, the damage you'll do later on with Sated Devourer and Rageblade will make up for it.

Strength of the Ages Diana, 12-0-18

If you are feeling like a real man though:
Manliest set of masteries.

=> This is the mastery tree that i usually run with AP Bursty junglers such as AP Jax, Akali, and of course Diana. Be warned though. Without anything from the resolve three, the 2 important masteries (Minion and monster damage reduction and 5/5 Runic shields) are absent, so ask for a good leash.

IMO, the real secret in making Diana (any build) work is to have a Nashor's Tooth. Whether it's lane or its in the Jungle. Well that's my trade secret boys. My other secret item for Diana, well, we need to be close friends for me to actually reveal that ;)

*****************

Guys, all this talk about League and no one's even refering to the upcoming Taric rework? Well let me spill the beans then for the kiddies at home:

WHOS A MAN AND A HALF? Well, Taric's definitely a man, a half, and FABULOUS!

I think I always run Nashor's Tooth on Diana. I think. If I live long enough to make it there.

I'm not a very good jungler.

The new splash for Armor of the Fifth Age Taric is amazing. There are so many cameos in it, it's beautifully outrageous. Truly, truly outrageous.

I finally have some other stuff to play in the jungle other than Sejuani (she's the only jungler I enjoy). I always build Nashor's Tooth on Diana anyway. It gives her insane tower destruction speed and usually means you can deal with any non-burst tanks. As for your secret item (you don't have to tell me if I'm right or wrong), I'm going to take wild stabs at either BotRK, Iceborn Gauntlet (I'm gonna use this item. Lich Bane feels too squishy of an item to build in jungle), Guinsoo's Rageblade, or Zz'Rot Portal (you mentioned Akali, so I wouldn't be surprised).

Btw, can you PM me a link to a guide which can teach to do CSS like in your signature (to display a different picture randomly), unless that's a trade secret too ;)

Taric lost his truly, truly outrageous taunt though :/

So I picked up Azir a while ago, and I'm really liking him. I've had mastery five with him for a good amount of time, but I always feel like I could be doing more with him. Although, this ranked game was nice:

http://matchhistory.na.leagueoflegends.com/en/#match-details/NA1/2159365444/218672683?tab=overview

For some reason, I have a really good win ratio with Azir. These past few games I've put a focus on his more advanced mechanics, and I actually managed to pull off some really good outplays against the opposing Lissandra and Ahri, so I think I'm actually getting places with Azir now.

The Taric rework seems really cool, but that ult is weird. I think it's actually going to be pretty underwhelming unless Taric is able to pull off four to five man ults consistently. He still looks like an amazing support, though, so I may have to consider adding him to my pool. I think his W is a really cool ability, and I'm interested in the plays people will be able to pull off with it.

Edit:
I didn't realize I went up against an official Riot employee, neat.

So i just used the reworked Taric for the first time ever and well, i pretty much lead the team into smashing the other team, aside from our Fiora being horribly fed on the top side of the map. My KDA is better than all of our carries except for obviously the Ezreal who was a friend i played with. We knew what we were going to when i locked in Taric as my support ;). Also the Soraka couldn't handle my fabulous murdercocktail

EhuT1nu.jpg

That stun is a lot of getting used to, but once you know how to land it with someone you used your Bastion (W) on, you are winning a lot of skirmishes and teamfights.

This makes me think of an obnoxious team comp of having Taric (Support), Kindred (Jungler), Shen (Top), and Zilean (Mid) as some members of the comp while having a hyper carry marksman like Kog'Maw, Vayne, or Jinx in the lineup. :)))

My most pro of tips when playing Taric. When the enemy team starts talking to you for picking him, remember to offer as much homo-erotic undertones as possible to make the enemy tilt at the start of the game.

I have 2 large posts on the subject I suppose. I peaked at plat (ADC and Riven main) because I didn't want to drop (but I did anyway from decay, so rip) and while I'm not one to care for ranking anymore -- just sharing what I learned since s2/3.
---------
On climbing:

"Farm [ the specifics of which are subject to your champion matchup(s) and tend to border on balance of the following], know when to take what objectives, keep an eye on death timers, ward chokepoints, know when to ward offensively and defensively, position in a way that predicts the enemy, know how and when to harass who and when, trade with enemy cooldowns, capitalize on item spikes, feel free to tilt the enemy jungler through shenanigans safely, click the enemy to keep track of their health when needed and know your own damage, keep track of mana and manage it, roaming effectively and actually roaming, know how to path as a jungler and predict the enemy jungler, countergank based on knowledge or counterjungle based on last seen gank, teleport wisely, itemize dynamically, etc." All sound advice from my view.

Conversely though, as a support, you need different things. You need to identify your carry in teamfights, need to peel for them, the lane needs to be power shifts, capitalizing on animations of the enemy, clearing wards well, know when to leave to ward/go mid without endangering your ADC too much, engaging/disengaging with confidence and knowing when and where, harassing through it all, weighing combined damage, knowing where both junglers are, etc. -- also, your ADC and teammates may have vastly differing views on these and synergise poorly with you. In that sense, you need to either verbally tell them, or adapt to a better form of their interpretation of the ebb and flow of the game.

I only played one season of League and it was last season. I manage to get Diamond 4 with a 70% win rate.

Right when the season stopped I stopped playing League in general, other better games I enjoy.

okay, so i just played a game in the MYMU aka Patch 6.9 and well

I just wanted to try out the devourer replacement because ya know, I kinda knew that Devourer will be gone when Riot has found it very difficult to balance out so... Bloodrazor time.

GvM6lsG.jpg

I still have the best KDA (Kills + assists / deaths) in our team because of me having the least deaths.

It was pretty hilarious just watching the damage of Bloodrazor + Blade of the Ruined king on someone who i touched. Also, smacking those boosted Leblanc, Lee Sin, and Rengar was a great feeling after a rather not so fulfilling day of Overwatch. Dem kids just got Xin'd. Surprisingly, our Blitz was the other guy who stepped up. Then again, its what happens when you have your supposed carries of Annie and Vayne just getting screwed by those boosted kids.

I'll be definitely playing more of this patch to see what's hot and what's cooled off. Obviously those new hextech items are very strong when you put them on the right champs. (Swain with Hextech GL800, or MAOKAI... errrrrrr)

I'm liking how they are more AP mages in mid lane. More fodder for my Diana plays >:)

I find it absolutely hilarious how Rito is consistently deleting every jungle item made for those strong AD carries/bruisers/whatever the hell you would call Yi, Xin, Nocturne, and the like. I'm counting down the days when Bloodrazor will also be changed/deleted. Checking the PBE, it's got an AS buff coming, along with Yi buffs... I honestly loved it when Devourer was removed, because almost every person who'd pick Yi stopped doing that (I haven't came across one yet in 6.9), but these buffs might bring him back. God I hate Yi (and Vayne, Zed, Yasuo, Fizz... they seem to be the champs that trolls love playing the most).

I'm thinking of building my own PC soon. Am certainly curious about checking out Overwatch now, knowing that I'll have a device that can at least install it XD

Judging from the PBE patch notes, Bloodrazor is getting TWO BUFFS. Hp shred from 3 to 4% max HP, and the ASPD from 40 to 50%. Like wow. I'm definitely skyrocketing my ELOS once i'm done with thesis.

I actually like the Bloodrazor change from Devourer now since I've thought of even more stronger "niche" builds to make the item work. Like Bloodrazor Mundo, Bloodrazor Olaf, and Possibly even Bloodrazor Trundle coming straight out of my murdercock. Heck I might even bring back Good ole Bloodrazor Shaco for the lulz with the classic S1 build. Oh yeah.. YEAAAAAAAH!!!!! WHOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!

I might be positive this time around that Bloodrazor will stay for quite a long time this time mainly for a couple of two things: 1) Max HP Shred isn't that effective early game but its still some nice damage anyway should one be forced to fight, and 2) Max HP shred is quite powerful late game when cancertanks such as Ekko, Poppy, and Maokai still roam around the top lane.

Well lads Patch 6.10 came in and I might try playing soon. Bloodrazor got buffed so well I don't even want to try arguing about it ;) Of course that doesn't stop BORKRazor Kindred with 100% Crit from being totally not busted Kappa.

Master Yi is so seriously buffed too. Well good thing i got my Project Yi skin because its my first legendary skin in my long but-not-too-storied years of playing League.

And did i mention that Project Yi totally looks like Hakumen + Zer0 of Borderlands 2?

Oh no, not a Yi player! GOD HELP US ALL!!! Funny story: 2 of the champion mystery boxes that Riot gave out for free over the years gave me Master Yi and Teemo. A friend's mystery skin gift also gave me Headhunter Yi. Now I'm stuck with 2 champions I absolutely loathe...

Jokes aside, Swain is really broken this patch. He only had 6 kills mid game but could pretty much 1v5 my whole team. We kinda didn't have a tank, but my god he should not be able to heal through an ignite and an ADC constantly applying Grievous Wounds on him.

And have you seen the Trinity Force changes on PBE? If it goes live, I really think Irelia will become permaban. (tl;dr TF gives more CDR, a LOT more AS, more critical strike chance, and total gold cost decreased by 200).

LE HA LE HA LE HAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!!!!!!! And to celebrate the Master Yi Buffs:
esvbPew.jpg
6wiWHcj.jpg
5UqKpuz.png

Master Yi, Hakumen, and Zer0 are all bros separated at birth.

One of my RL friends is a Swain main. I told him about the buffs to Swain. If you ever saw him in real life, he'd be jumping up and down, and be man screaming with much Euphoria.

Attack speed seems to be the now common buffing ups that Riot is doing in their PBE cycles. We already have a REALLY REALLY BUFFED Bloodrazor now on our live patch (and to those who keep on ranting about Yi, well, do remember that Frozen Heart and Randuins will still counter Highlander's AS Buff :)))) ) and yet I hear no complaints about Kindred being absolutely busted with it either D: even though I'm a Kindred player. I could reserve like an essay long statement about how i find ranged junglers like so strong that they've pretty much a priority now, which is why Tank tops, wave clear mages, and bulky supports are so common so that both bot lane carry and ranged junglers are given enough room to deal their deeps, but dear lord Kindred right now is so absolutely busted (even with some nerfs the champ has gotten in past patches) that I might as well be a Kindred main for a couple of days :))))

Though MSI 2016 has proven that ranged supports are somehow back in the metagame. Aphromoo has already stated why ranged supports should come back given that TP Top (obviously) AND TP Mid laners are so common. Bot lane skirmishes are so important to win in the current meta that a fight that does so bad for the losing team will seriously be crippled, and ranged supports can prevent a double TP GG moment if done properly.

Given the Trinity Buffs.. I'm sure that Phreak is so happy in the pants that he'll be dealing tons of damage again. I'd be happy in the pants too since I built trinity to some of my champs if I'm quite fed.

ALRIGHT NA. Who's happy in NA that CLG has proven that NA is great in league again? I'm sure I am, even if I'm not from NA. Even though they got 0-3'd by SKT in the MSI grand finals, the fact that CLG reached the MSI grandfinals IN AN INTERNATIONAL EVENT and went toe-2-toe against all of the top reps of each region meant that NA can be great again.

Yi still gives me nightmares from my level 10 days.

Nothing beats the feeling of seeing your main being buffed though XD

Hail lord Phreak, the saviour of Irelia. May his Tons of Damage rain down upon his enemies. May Irelia continue to pub stomp top lane and may Jax get removed from the game (seriously, Irelia vs Jax is not fun).

Interesting about the range jungler though. Hopefully this will shift the meta slightly and I won't get flamed for going Quinn in the jungle.

And ranged supports... As a support main, I like the Zyra update. She does so much damage now and all she needs to do is stand in the same ares for half a minute. I played against a Zyra the other day, and all I could think about was "Is this what my enemies feel like when I play Zyra?". If ranged junglers become the norm, then either supports are gonna be unaffected (initiation tanks are pretty good against ranged imo) or everyone is gonna play ranged supports; fight fire with fire.

What if all of us here bonded together and formed a Pokecommunity ranked team? How does that sound?

I've been thinking about getting back into league again(yay!). I watch a lot of league videos on YouTube still so I kinda know the meta....but not really. What are the "in" champs right now? Is the top lane tank meta still dominating? Is the new rock champ really a trash pile?

Not a lot of people would agree on me on this one but Fiora is still a pretty strong answer against the top-lane cancertanks especially with the nerfs that Poppy got, the slight Ekko nerfs, and a slight Maokai nerf. Sure Fiora was nerfed patches ago, but so are the cancertanks, and the cancertanks' nerfs are actually more felt. Poppy may still be an issue against Fiora but a team should know how to play around a Fiora top again.

Also Darius should easily spank all those cancer tanks like nothing, but Darius is another champ that's highly banned in ranked for a lot of reasons.

Then again, yeah Top lane tanks are still in i believe. Its just that people have learned that Tanks really do need their gold while Junglers can farm up and be carries.

Fiddlesticks is new OP. its funny. All he needed was a change in his passive, and him given a new passive that gives him movement speed completely made him from weak to OP in one update.

Malazhar's update gave him a completely busted passive (A passive that grants 90% DAMAGE REDUCTION and CC IMMUNITY for a few seconds, but is taken off after taking champion damage and blocking out a CC after 1 second = Still broken though)..

Also, with QSS now just removing CC Effects, Fiora and Zed, ESPECIALLY ZED, won't have to worry about having their precious Ulties debuffed. Then again, QSS being what it is right now also means that Zed is pretty much a permaban in ranked.

Also, warding dragon is an absolute must now since you and your team really needs to know what Elemental Dragon pops out. It could either be any of the four, and claiming these dragon buffs give some very meta buffs.. (+Out of combat Movement speed, +Mana and HP Regen, +Damage and AP, +Bonus true damage to neuts...)

I don't have an assessment of Taliyah yet since I haven't played her :)))))

Alistar recently got meganerfed again in the latest patch with his Ulti now having a 50/60/70 scaling instead of the constant +70% just like what he had in Season 4.

Ryze is just so OP right now I don't even... Its like Ryze was meganerfed in one patch a long time ago that made sure that he has a spell cast limit now instead of just machine-gunning people, but then people just realized that Faker is making Ryze still look so powerful... Faker plz.
