So i have a really big problem i patched the file correctly but no matter in what vba emulator i try the game just loads and you can get until the point where the professor asks you to enter your name and after that i get an error message and a black screen :| the error message says this: "Unsupported BIOS function e3 called from 0818ff08. A BIOS file is needed in order to get the correct behaviour." So what should i do?? i can`t find any help on google either please someone help or tell me what version of vba they are using? P.S. also other games works just fine in the emulator, also the game background music runs after i click ok on the error message but the screen stays black forever.

So, I finished playing Pokemon Vega and I must say it definitely lives up the hype surrounding it. It most certainly has that difficulty level that most Pokemon games/Hacks lack. The Fakemon are so bloody gorgeous, Heck they could pass off as real Pokemon. The sound tracks were catchy and had me nodding my head as I played. Overall it's definitely one of my favourite hacks. The storyline was entertaining and the Evil team actually felt like a threat. Well done to the hackers that made this and Thank you for translating this Dr. Playing this has been quite memorable.

I recently tried this game, gotta say, I love the fakemons... but the curve is absolutely ridiculous. I'm up to the 3rd gym, and every single one of my pokemon gets OHKO'd by the Gym Leader's Starmie, who is level 30. All I can train on is at best, level 15s, which is the highest level that the 1st gym had. It's absolutely ridiculous. I can't enjoy the game like this, even if the soundtrack, the fakemon and the story (so far) are pretty great.

I agree Choconut. This hack mght be one of the best of all time, but the level curve literally ruins the whole experience.

I don't suppose there are any plans by anyone to release a modified, easier, saner level curve version of Vega? 'Coz that would be great.

I am stuck in the post game with the Chateau, and cant fight the ghost, and cant find the Silph inside the Chateau to fight the ghost, so what am i missing to fight the ghost? do i have to make sure to faint all my pokemons get out of it, and find a silph or something to identify the ghost outside?

This was a great hack. My only issue was some of the puzzles being unreasonably hard or tedious. Finding the shards and the ice gym puzzle must have taken me 18+ hours.

That's not BS... that's how surf works in gen 4 onwards.. the move in Vega is updated until gen 5 IIRC, and it has some original moves too

thanks for the quick reply, i am used to playing Gen3 games on VBA, haven't played other generation games, so didn't know. imagine my surprise when i KOed my own Houndoom, smh.

I do I fix the glitch of after beating mewtwo than do the event in the cave vs turner. All its shows for mw is just three male grunts and mewtwo in the top layer of the cave. Thanks for reading and pls relpy
