LADIES AND GENTLEMEN, INTRODUCING THE WORLD'S FINEST.
Just was written more verbosely than necessary.
I mean, Carcol is clearly all about dem sesquipedalian babbles, why would his app not reflect this? Though I should clarify that I will not be extending this gimmick to the Roleplay itself, at least not so prominently that it becomes a routine. Aside from making it tedious for readers, I honestly don't find it practical to waste my time writing nonsensical strings of jargon like that. And if you thought the CSS was repulsively convoluted, I was originally going to add animated tacky neon lights everywhere with a puke-inducing rainbow background.
]Only nitpick I have is about your plan to replace Outrage with the tutor move Draco Meteor. Draco Meteor has always stricken me as one of those "rare" moves that you earn from a specifically-qualified tutor rather than buy or trade for. Thus I'd also assume it'd harder to "plan for", but honestly, it's up to you. I suppose it appears weirder to me because it's an personal plan of yours that you went out of your way to mention.
I'm not entirely sure if you're actually denouncing my plan for Draco Meteor or you're just concerned on how I'm going to implement it into the roleplay. I only mentioned it in advance in case the move should be banned entirely, considering the fact that Draco Meteor literally involves the Pokemon bringing Armageddon to the world (if the games are to be held reliable). I will obviously never use it to cause excessive amounts of destruction and will appropriately limit it to just a contest move. This move is apparently classified as "Beautiful" (because nothing is more marvelous than the day of reckoning!), so I wanted to capitalize on the spectacle of meteor showers somehow. It was just a possible idea I had, nothing absolute.
I am taking into consideration that Draco Meteor is a very special move that can only be learned under specific circumstances, and I never really had any intentions on obtaining it through such mundane methods; I actually assumed you, as the GM, would offer us the opportunity to learn tutor moves and/or TM moves through orchestrated events, so I was kind of leaning towards that as the primary option. I also want to clarify that my character will NOT start off with the desire to teach his Goodra this attack straight away; Draco Meteor sorta serves as the potential turning point for Escargoo's own little character development (which is why it replaces Outrage, which serves as a representation its bigger flaws), though it may not have the chance to learn this depending on things go in the RP. It's the reason why I added the "hopefully" part since it's not guaranteed to actually happen.
Anyway, I've finally finished my Back-Up Pokemon, so it seems that my app is finally done. Thank god
I took the Back-Up aspect very literally and wasn't sure how prominent the secondary partner would be in the story, but regardless, I decided to do something a little odd that could help further showcase my character's quirks. Looking through the other Apps and taking into account that every coordinator is inept with something, I wondered how funny it would be if the secondary Pokemon had attributes that could cover the primary's shortcomings but also completely worked against its coordinator's preferences and played off his personal fear of bugs.
There were so many ideas to pick for the secondary; from Little Timothy the deformed Dusclops with two eyes, to Belladonna the exuberant Florges that twerks 24/7.
