Venonat and Tentacool. I really wish wild Pokemon would not flee. It's like the safari zone, and I never liked it.

Just today, I found a Machop. Threw a Great Ball at it, then my game did that dumb thing where it zooms into the Pokeball, then freezes. Restarted the app and saw the Machop next to me. Tried to tap on it again, then he disappeared. Also found a Cloyster with 1200ish CP and it ran away after the first Ultra Ball.

After a bit of late night Pokemon hunting yesterday, a Persian came up on my nearby tracker. I've never even seen one of my tracker before so I had to find it, unfortunately, the three step glitch kinda messed it up and I could locate find it :(

FINALLY saw an Eevee, it broke out and ran away immediately after one throw. I know, maybe not a huge deal to everyone since Eevee seems to be common in other places, but since 99% of my encounters are Pidgey, Rattata, or Weedle, encountering literally anything else is a huge deal.

Seriously, I just pulled up my 'nearby' window, which contains 9 pokemon, all of which are (you guessed it) Pidgey, Rattata, or Weedle.

I have been lucky enough to catch all 55 of my Pokemon so far. Of course many of them took several Pokeballs to do that, but I eventually got em.

I've caught most of the 84 Pokémon in which I have encountered, however the few that I didn't would of been great editions to my team...

Right now Goldeen is the only Pokémon I've encountered(3 times) that I haven't been able to catch. Wishing for one from an egg at this point.


But I have had quite a few Pokémon on the nearby map that I personally don't think were nearby, since the nearby map doesn't work at all. Since about 100% of the time any Pokémon that spawns near me isn't on the nearby map before hand. I think it just lists random Pokémon.


Anyways Pokémon that were "nearby" include Wartortle, Nidorina, Nidorino, Clafairy, Vulpix, Golbat, Parasect, Golduck, Growlithe, Poliwhirl, Kadabra, Tentacool, Geodude, Graveler, Magnemite, Lickitung, Goldeen, Seaking, Electabuzz, Lapras, Omanyte, Kabuto, Snorlax and Dragonair.

I found TWO snorlax's yesterday and they both ran away after the first ultra ball. Lol

Aw man I am very sorry to hear this! Hopefully it was a nest or something and you'll be able to go back and get him again soon? XD I've heard a lot about Pokémon re-appearing in the same areas even if it isn't a nest so you might want to try going back there occasionally and you might get lucky!

Hopefully, though admittedly, it's the first time i've seen Scyther. I shall try again today.

There's definitely a Jynx nest somewhere in town, there are always Jynx hanging around. With any luck i'll bump into one that's a bit better than my current CP23 one lel

Today I saw a Dewgong, Seel, and Dratini. I have none of them. I had no pokeballs. It was sad :p

Edit: saw 2 pidgeys, a cubone, and a marowak :(
Edit 2: add a rhyhorn to that list. I wish there were more pokestops.
Edit 3: I begin to cry as a victreebel and Meowth cross my radar. My pokedex will remain empty for a while yet.
Edit 4: FINALLY 2 POKEBALLS FROM THE LONE POKESTOP ON THE HIGHWAY!!!

Ugh, first time I see a Gyarados, it's CP 1615. I threw like 10-15 Ultra Balls and like 4 raspberries. While hitting it with spinning balls and got the "great" hit at the same time still couldn't catch it before it ran away. This game really needs to stack your throws, i.e. Spinning ball and nice,great,excellent throws. Such crap.

Diglet, twice now, my gf went mad, both time she was playing (we play on one mobile together more fun imo :) when he spawned and both time after 1st fail he fled. 89 cp. fml

I'm seeing so many shadows in my village recently and I just can't track any of them XD There's been two Dratini shadows over the past few days and another Porygon that I just couldn't track down - getting annoyed now! Think I'll have to cave in and join the local facebook group, told them I wouldn't but I think it's time :p

Today an Abra appeared. It was only about 130cp so a pokeball should have caught it. Since ive caught countless 400 and 500cp in pokeballs. Unfortunately we were driving so when it broke out it fled. Wish I had used a great ball.






It was odd because I just had a dream about a shiny Abra and caught a shiny Abra in FS yesterday. I must be celebrating Abra Week without knowing it.

Same thing happened to me today, onix appeared 188cp, he had red circle with great ball, even tho i fed him raspberry, and threw a Nice throw he escaped ball and fled, i went mad, game hates me so bad
