Race: Fox Faunus
Personality: At first glance, the petite fox Faunus, you would find a young man who is quite eccentric and out there, constantly. Stemming from a storied background in different types of theater, Tilki is something of an aficionado for the theater. Between that and his tendencies for vanity, Tilki is right at home talking in his lilting, effeminate voice gleefully admiring a great show or just something that catches his easily impressed eye. Graciously taking in the world with a lens with something akin to wonder, he likes to indulge in all the pretty things in life and their beauty.
However, for all his quirks and flamboyant behavior, there is a underlying mindset just beneath the surface that is self loathing and wants him to shed his petty frivolities and live up to the image of . Alas, his desire to shed his eccentric behavior stems from being an outcast his entire life, even among Faunus. This shows itself in other aspects of his personality, keeping his cards close to his chest and hesitant to trust. This makes him seem distant and hesitant to do things as a team despite his animated mannerisms. For the people he is close to, however, he does everything in his power to please the people he knows, with a fawning, affectionate side on a deeper, emotional level.
Appearance: Standing with a very petite frame, a measly height of 5' 1" and weighing in at 100 pounds, it's obvious that brute physical force is not Tilki's forte. Appearing to be fairly androgynous with a soft face and more slender, svelte form than most males, Tilki has a 50-50 chance about having his gender identified correctly. He has olive skin that is mostly unblemished. Apart from his relatively androgynous appearance with a soft face, full eyelashes and full lips his most notable features are two pointed fox ears, colored black with orange tips. Sticking up from behind him is his bushy, fluffy tail that shares the same pattern as his ears.
For clothes, Tilki likes to wear exotic or fancy clothes, for either gender and from different cultures. He tends to switch up often, with the only constant is that he prefers the colors black, red and pink.
Semblance: Illusions
Summoning his Aura to surround him and his foes, Tilki is able to create a field of illusions that at lower levels serve to disorient and confuse foes through hypnotic displays. These displays can even be masquerading as vehicles for volatile Dust attacks. The fun lies in which part of the displays are there to mess with you, or which one could end up blowing you up.
Weapon: Dust Panflute
Apart from being a superb instrument to be played with awe and wonder, the panflute also serves as a blowdart for Dust darts at the flick of a simple, mechanical switch. Depending on the darts that are fired, the effects can range from fiery explosions, shards of ice, metal projectiles and more.

Alright, looking forward to seeing him/her! I do also want to remind the two of you of something: the school year has been going for a month and two weeks, so Varik, Nilya and Fei would either be late-enrolled students, or have been in the academy as a team for a while now.
I have to say (and with offense to LaDD, if he is for some reason reading this) that I enjoy this reiteration of Tilki thoroughly more than the former one. A flamboyant, theatre-loving Tilki sounds really fun to read and I'm interested to see what comes out of him, as well as the two new characters disclosed is going to bring to the table!

Personality: Amane is what you call the ice princess. That's just summing up her personality. She's not the most friendly person to talk to. She can be pretty stubborn, & likes proving to doubters how great she is. She can be pretty tiring to stand by & talk to. She'd call them a coward if they didn't last long enough, but deep down she would understand. She knows how crazy she can be to others. She doesn't take compliments very well, whether they were true or not, even if they were nice & genuine ones. The truth is she is very fragile. She was bullied most of the time & almost died underwater. That's why she resents anyone she doesn't know. That's also her reason for wanting to one-up anyone. She doesn't like company much, so she acts like a loner sometimes. Most of the way she talks is with insults, though that can backfire sometimes. Deep down though, she really just wants someone to notice her abilities, even if it's a total stranger.

She's pretty good at using her scythe, being able to spin it around herself.

Appearance: [See left for general reference.] 6' 1" ; 145 lbs ; prominent freckling across the face and shoulder range (not pictured) ; extremely pale complexion ; angular face with soft, unpronounced features ; upturned nose, may have been fractured in his earlier youth ; hazel eyes that typically take a brown-ish shade ; white-blonde hair with bangs just held out of his eyes by a minute ponytail in the back ; gaunt and lean.
Faunus-wise, he is one of the lucky few that could otherwise come across as human, if not for his gargantuan, fleshy ears. These are usually concealed by a pair of chartreuse headphones, presumably out of embarrassment. Whether Gabriel knows folding his ears into a comparably-tiny pair of headphones is bad for them is unknown. Naturally, they are sensitive, after all.
Clothing-wise, he has a quirky way of dress, involving undeniably urban styles, popularized by rebellious Porsch youth. His clothes are cut unconventionally, such as above his top possesses a collar yet still leaves his clavicles somewhat exposed. His apparel is not entirely flamboyant, rather incorporate subtle, interesting twists on what would otherwise be an everyday sweatshirt or long-sleeved tee. For his bottom half, however, Gabriel tends to dress a bit more simpler with pants and his favorite pair of black athletic shoes.

Level 3: Advanced modifiable sound wave projection; Gabriel's sound waves grow increasingly corporeal, increasingly dependent on his emotions. They may take more abstract forms now, not necessarily the indiscernible blasts of before, though Gabriel knows not what to make of this yet. Only he can see the shapes they become and they, usually, they are distinctly non-wave-like. Additionally, Gabriel can "see" foreign sounds. This plus the ability to vary his projected sound waves give him full access to echolocation, the ability to sense locations of objects and living things by reflecting his cries off of the environment.
Level 2: Modifiable sound wave projection; Cries no longer necessarily manifest themselves offensively. The speed, range and intensity of Gabriel's projections are despondent on the tone of his voice and the drive behind the noises he makes.

Faunus-wise, she does not have wings—it would be impossible, anyhow—but some strands of her hair grow in shorter than the rest and cling together as if instinctively wishing to form "antennae" atop Hitomi's head. Sweeping, scar-like patterns shaped distinctly like eyes encase her back and upper shoulders.
Clothing-wise, Hitomi clearly takes little shame in her faunus features, usually wearing open-back tops to disclose her natural scars. Overall, her dress style is admittedly immodest; even in combat, she is not adverse to showing skin. Like Gabriel, her getup is very modern with high-rise mini-skirts and thigh-high stockings. She enjoys embellishing her hair with accessories and is not adverse to frequent use of feminine apparel; a variety of make-up, nail polish, etc. One of her main accessories of choice is a pair of goggles from her scavenging days along the streets of Porsch. She was part of the "rats" throughout the majority of her childhood, a group of youthful dumpster divers that almost always turned to thievery. Though Hitomi denies that she ever personally purloined, she is certainly no stranger to the matter. Her goggles have no real technical use but she does don them in battle anyway for a morale boost.

Level 3: Permanent intangibility; Hitomi possesses full control now over her immateriality and can stay in an invisible form for as long as she maintains concentration. In this state she can, of course, pass casually through people and objects. It is unknown what will occur if Hitomi regains tangibility while still "inside" of something else. She does not want to learn.
Level 2: Controlled intangibility; Period of intangibility is no longer fueled entirely by movement. Hitomi can flicker in and out of susceptibility.
Level 1: Temporary intangibility; With enough built momentum, Hitomi can briefly pass through solid surfaces.
Weapon: A war fan with needle-like blades tipping each rip. When collapsed, the blades meld together, creating a dagger-like weapon, perfect for classic stab-and-slice action when the trademarks of the fan will not suffice. Hitomi can dual-weild both her fan as well as her blaster gun, more accustomed for incapacitating enemies. Hitomi's blaster shoots exploding balls of lightning dust after a moment or two of charging. Contact with this can cause temporary paralysis and a stinging numbness, potentially leaving an enemy to the full mercy of Hitomi's war fan. The blades tipping Hitomi's fan can also utilize dust for disorienting, fiery dances around foes.
Battling Strengths and Strategies: Hitomi is very much a melee-oriented, in-your-face fighter. Her size, leg length and weight make her lithe on the battlefield, albeit delicate. She loves bamboozling her opponents, toying with those of larger size and stature, but this cocky way of battle can put her in treacherous situations. Hitomi's main necessity in-battle is guidance. Similar to Gabriel, she is very conscious of where she stands on the battlefield but alternatively is not as perceptive when regarding the positions of her opponents. In other words, she tends to get caught up in the moment. On another note, Hitomi is quite skilled in the art of camouflage.

Level 3: Permanent intangibility; Hitomi possesses full control now over her immateriality and can stay in an invisible form for as long as she maintains concentration. In this state she can, of course, pass casually through people and objects. It is unknown what will occur if Hitomi regains tangibility while still "inside" of something else. She does not want to learn.
Level 2: Controlled intangibility; Period of intangibility is no longer fueled entirely by movement. Hitomi can flicker in and out of susceptibility.
Level 1: Temporary intangibility; With enough built momentum, Hitomi can briefly pass through solid surfaces.
Weapon: A war fan with needle-like blades tipping each rip. When collapsed, the blades meld together, creating a dagger-like weapon, perfect for classic stab-and-slice action when the trademarks of the fan will not suffice. Hitomi can dual-weild both her fan as well as her blaster gun, more accustomed for incapacitating enemies. Hitomi's blaster shoots exploding balls of lightning dust after a moment or two of charging. Contact with this can cause temporary paralysis and a stinging numbness, potentially leaving an enemy to the full mercy of Hitomi's war fan. The blades tipping Hitomi's fan can also utilize dust for disorienting, fiery dances around foes.

Battling Strengths and Strategies: Hitomi is very much a melee-oriented, in-your-face fighter. Her size, leg length and weight make her lithe on the battlefield, albeit delicate. She loves bamboozling her opponents, toying with those of larger size and stature, but this cocky way of battle can put her in treacherous situations. Hitomi's main necessity in-battle is guidance. Similar to Gabriel, she is very conscious of where she stands on the battlefield but alternatively is not as perceptive when regarding the positions of her opponents. In other words, she tends to get caught up in the moment. On another note, Hitomi is quite skilled in the art of camouflage.

NPC! This is Nilya's sister... she will be at the Faunus camp on the Island serving as a medic/healer. Made her for future plot device for Nilya to reveal her past and allow others to figure out that she is a Faunus.

You think a herm with no life like myself would have the time to read through a RP they openly expressed interest in and subsequently create an application.
Well, just to make sure I don't completely forget this, I should at least post up somethingeven if it's trash. Admittedly, I only have a draft of what I want to do and I really want to read everything in Dust more thoroughly before I decide on anything definite.
I will make an actual application in the future, right after I come back from my training with Dynamo Jack to become a Super Saiyan.
