Abillity Drought on Mega-CharizardY is kind of buggy, when you mega-evolve it doesn't intensify the sunlight. In order to do it I must switch-out and then switch-in again. Anyone else has this problem or it is just me?

There's a graphical bug (somewhat a palette change) whenever I use moonblast while an enemy pokemon mega evolves (My clefable using moonblast while lorelei's abomasnow mega evolves).
Also, in the pokemon list guide, poliwhirl can be obtained from cerulean, not celadon.

Mega evolutions don't work in link battles because it's a limitation (for now) of the mega evolution in gba. Yes, those moves are in the game.

Check darmanitan's ability, it's sheer force, it boosts the power of your moves and negates its added effects, in this case Flare Blitz. Sheer Force boosted the Power of Flare Blitz while negating BOTH the burn chance and recoil. :D

Protean Froakie is available through a series of in game trades if you chose froakie as your starter. The trade route was Vermillion - Fuchsia - Cinnabar...
If you didn't choose froakie then there's a chance you can get it as a gift from Prof Oak for beating the Elite Four, it's a chance thing since all starters and legends are obtainable that way, it might take A LOT OF TIME but it's possible

It's not compatible with this version because the Pokemon table has been moved, and no, there's no way you could get your mons with cheats, unless somebody made a tool just for this hack only b/c this is the only hack out there that moved the pokemon data table

Sheer force doesn't negate recoil in the original game, moves like overheat and leafstorm also still get their stat reduction, hyperbeam and moves like that still require recharge.
Just thought you should know.

Actually, it does negate recoil from FLARE BLITZ since Flare Blitz has a secondary effect which is a burn chance.
It also works that way with Life Orb, if you use a move that has a secondary effect, let's say Ice Punch, you'll get both the Life Orb and Sheer Force boost without recoil. :)

Edit: Apparently it doesnt negate recoil, it only negates the recoil from Life Orb, my bad.

Thnx for replying, I hope touched's mega evolution routine gets upgraded for link battles soon.

Btw do you know if any Pokemon editor can open this ROM, advanced map couldn't open this either :( I wanted to change some Pokemon's base stats and abilities, is Devkitpro the only way to do that for this game??
Script editing must get difficult too since it doesn't open with advanced map.

Eh that's okay, but is the game negating the flareblitz recoil?? Than that's probably a glitch.
But are none of the Pokemon editors working?? Even advanced map doesn't work :(

Yeah, it negates Flare Blitz recoil.
None works because most datas have been moved if not most, all we're repointed so yeah...

Please check the base speed stat of azumarill. It seems to be higher than normal.
Is freeze-dry in the game? My cryogonal didn't learn it at level 50.
There was one time that ability pill didn't work for my snorlax. For my other snorlax, it worked.

So far liking the game. The difficulty system is pretty good, and I love the Exp. Share you implemented.

If I could suggest: Make it possible to run indoors. Also the player is not facing the trainers when challenged.

Kanto/Hoenn ones can be caught as their final forms at two hidden grottos at the Sevii isles.
Or, you can get randomly one (always with hidden abilities) as a gift from Prof. Oak by beating the league.

just found an entie with just 3 badges... is that even ok? and will i get another chance if he fleds? because is main games we have only one chance :/ it's hard to catch him when unprepared.

abuse the hell out of save states and catch him. That's what I'd do.
