I finally managed to RNG my dream Shiny, a Shiny Bold Cresselia! I'm pretty happy about it, caught it in a Heal Ball. [user]Graine[/user] will also let me use his Omega Ruby game to RNG the exclusive legendaries in the game, so I'll have a pretty nice collection of Shiny Legends <3

I'm still trying to hatch Tauros, but I've caught Miltank, Fletchling (evolution pending), Magby (evolution pending) and right now I'm in the middle of hunting for a female Salandit, which I'm gonna need a lot of luck on that one, even with Cute Charm!

Wow, today I beat my previous record of 4 shinies in one day from last year when I caught a shiny Tentacool fishing and then got 3 shinies in Friend Safari in 33 encounters later on that day.

Only this time I managed to get 5 shinies using 5 different methods.

First I found a shiny Hoppip in 962 hordes, will evolve to Skiploom, then a shiny Grimer in 555 Dexnav's, after that a shiny Forretress duplicate in 113 Friend Safari encounters, after that got Shellder in 33 fish chains and about an hour before midnight I thought I should get back to my Sudowoodo breeding I've been doing since I got Caterpie, especially after I found the 4 shinies and I got the shiny Sudowoodo at 460 eggs, only 10 eggs hatched tonight. Wasn't at all expecting it since Lickitung took 887 eggs and Caterpie took 612 eggs, but I thought what the heck.

I love getting these random bursts of luck, when it happens don't stop hunting. I'm also trying to fill a box on Pokedex Tracker, it goes from Poliwhirl to Shellder and I only need 1 more shiny to fill it in, Magneton, was actually going for it when I got the Forretress, got 2 tonight with Grimer and Shellder.

Woah that's an impressive streak!
Yesterday I only got one Shiny, I will do a Shiny-only run in X and after trying to RNG my starter for 2 days, I finally managed to get that Shiny, Female Fennekin. Aiming for a Spewpa next, because Vivillon is adorable <3

I've gotten 3 shinies lately.

First one was a shiny Blitzle. The second was an accidental Helioptile (which has happened before) while trying to get hidden power ice. And last a Shiny Jolly Ralts with its Hidden ability by using the Magikarp Swap method.

On the 22nd I found shiny Magneton in 560 Friend Safari encounters. And filled an entire box on Pokedex tracker. Today while looking for a Swalot I got another shiny Kakuna. It was 580 fs encounters.

Yesterday I got a Shiny Volbeat and a Shiny Burmy. I was expecting Burmy to be more different, almost missed it.

caught two shiny beldums on mount hokulani with wasting nearly 60 balls for each of them. it could be three beldums if the first beldum didn't struggle and ruined the day. i also caught shiny Ditto. currently hunting for shiny cleffa. so annoying that it won't appear even with so many phases done. one week struggling for shiny cleffa isn't worth it at all.

Haven't posted in awhile

After the Kakuna I got a second shiny Rufflet in the Pidgey safari, at 1926 encounters. That's 2 Rufflet's and 2 Swanna's in 2,671 encounters. Hopefully the next shiny I get in this safari is the Pidgey. I'm evolving the Rufflet.

I also dexnaved a second shiny Skitty at 486 encounters. Evolving it to Delcatty.
Finally on the 23rd I got a shiny Nuzleaf in 278 friend safari encounters. Evolving it to Shiftry.

On the 24th I found a second shiny Koffing in only 81 hordes, evolving it to Weezing.
On the 25th I got a duplicate Dwebble looking for a Pupitar in FS in 735 encounters. It's always nice to go overodds for a duplicate shiny....

On the 26th I found my first shiny Eevee in FS at 564 encounters. I was leveling up my Rufflet since the Eevee safari has Audino.

I found 3 shinies today, a Spheal in a horde, started this hunt back when I got the first Spheal in in the FS and continued it today, it appeared at 1,265 hordes. Will probably evolve to Walrein, then dexnav Sealeo later.

Then some crazy luck, I decided to dexnav Diglett, I usually run from the 4th encounter so that I can bypass the fast one at 5, but I forgot Diglett had Arena Trap and had to knock it out. Then the 5th one popped up down the corridor so usually it flees before I can get down there or pops up where I'm standing but this one popped up right next to me, I encountered it and it was shiny. Only 5 Dexnav's today, did 53 encounters when I was Dexnaving for Grimer.
Also found another Nosepass at 357 looking for a Shuckle in FS.


These are the Pokemon who are the banes of my existence, Nosepass, Remoraid, Throh, Kakuna, Illumise, Spinda and Bibarel. Also Skrelp, Magikarp and Basculin.

Also contemplating my next Masuda method hunt, thinking maybe Snorlax or Tauros or Omanyte.

with so crowded schedule due to independence day celebration, i could manage to catch shiny cleffa after three days with countless trial and errors and shiny Pancham on the next morning. still no luck on breeding though.

I got a Shiny Cubone and Shiny Rhyhorn yesterday, but my vacation's over so I won't have as much time Shiny hunting now :(

My luck's been crazy lately, since I got a female Salandit first try (now a Salazzle), finally hatched a Tauros, caught a Ditto, Beldum, female Pichu, and two Torkoals (one SOS, the other RE).

I also tried my luck at horde battles, and caught four Gulpins (they wouldn't stop coming), a Scraggy and a Plusle.

Question: What are the odds of getting a Shiny Plusle in a Minun horde?

got elekid, electabuzz, and Torkoal at Blush Mountain and Route 12. going to Haina Dessert after swap breeding some pokemon i cannot encounter at Melee melee. probably it would take a month to finish it.

I've been horde hunting for Aron and Makuhita recently, got 2 Zubat's which I'll evolve into Golbat and Crobat. Hopefully can get the other two now.

I've also been going between 2 FS's trying to get a Shelgon and Pupitar to evolve both.

In the the Pupitar FS I found another Dwebble at 1565. Then in the other FS I found 1 Gabite at 26 and 2 Druddigon. First at 685 and 2nd at 67. With the second I had my first fail, I accidentally hit Earthquake instead of Yawn on my Quagsire... To be honest it was kind of statisfying watching the thing fall to the ground. I kind of wish I had battle effects on. At least my first fail was just my 4th shiny Druddigon and not one I wanted. Also in FS and only 67 encounters so didn't waste too much time on it.

Edit: literally 5 minutes after posting this I get a shiny in the Makuhita hordes, you can already guess which Pokemon was shiny.... 908 hordes.... But seriously it is kind of cool to get the sole species shiny, I know it's not 1% but it's definitely rarer then the other possibilities. And I didn't fail it so thats a plus. Oh well I'll keep going for Makuhita.

Got a New 2DS XL today and curious wanted to know what Friend Safari I had so checked in X.. It's Electric with Pikachu and Electrode.

After about half an hour I found a Shiny Electrode. It has an Impish Nature and it is a Shiny Reclaim as I had a Shiny Electrode blow up on me a few years ago.

I'm still trying for that full-odds Shiny male Burmy in HGSS. I got a Shiny Exeggcute instead last night, which was mildly disappointing, but I'll take her and keep trucking for Burmy.

I plan to evolve her into Alolan Exeggutor and might change her nickname before the transfer if anything better comes to mind. I got her current name from Lepidodendron, an ancient (and massive) tree-like plant possessing a bark texture reminiscent of reptilian scales, but I don't think I like it. (I caught her in a Heavy Ball to reference fossils of these plants.)

EDIT: Changed her name to Belfry (as in bell tower) since Shiny Exeggcute sort of looks like jingle bells and A-Exeggutor like a tower. Much happier with this name!

I hatched a Shiny Fletchling, a Shiny Horsea, and a Shiny Ducklett this week. They all have 4-4 EM, 5 Perfect IVs, and Ducklett is in a Dream Ball <3
