Do we know if this will be the last season? I'm going to be so sad when SU finally ends ;; I like when things have proper story arcs, but it is sad that that means the arcs eventually wrap up :)

yall gotta admit, that the music from the show is great! Take away one thing from the show, and its gotta be the music. Ima be honest, i havent seen a show in years with this great music, and being their own music to say the least.

It's not mind-blowingly great imo. It's just cute and unique. I really like the Stronger Than You song, and the intro and outros.

I loved most of it, especially the fusions, new designs and Steven's "half human half gem" experience (and proof that Rose was gone - I half expected her to show up there!). But I still think it all got resolved too quickly. The episode could have ended with showing that they were getting ready to go back to Earth, and with the dramatic hopeful scene of White actually coming with them. Then the next (normal length) episode should have been about returning, healing the gems, and Lars coming back + offcolor talking with the Diamonds. imo!

Still fantastic, epic episode in so many ways, and a great conclusion up to the rushed ending. Waaaaa.

I finally decided what I want to do for fanart. Hoping to finish it tonight so I can strike the iron while its still hyped up and hot.

While I love all the new fusions, I love obsidian the best so expect to see that in my art thread soon.

That aside, the livestream I was watching actually cut right as the gem came out so I was frantic to find those last fifteen ish minutes of the episode when I was stuck on like the worst possible cliffhanger.

oh man im so in love with this episode. it definitely felt like a finale, but i was told that there is a movie coming and they have been confirmed for season 6. so that's good. i'm excited to see what's next.

also i love all the new outfits holy mother of god. me and my little sister watched this together and we were on the edge of our seats and squealing the whole time.

I'm pretty sure the writers and voice actors are still hard at work on production, so we're still bound to have atleast about 1-2 seasons worth of SU

The Steven Universe Movie is airing in the Fall iirc? I'm slightly hoping this picks up after Change Your Mind, I'm kinda not feeling the movie having a separate storyline as the show (like its in canon, but has no big impact on the show itself), so I'm hoping it will be intertwined.

But aaaaaaa Change Your Mind was amazing. Although the episode itself seemed like the series finale, I think there's a lot to go on after. If they really want to take the story to the next level, I'm pretty sure a timeskip is in order. I'm also thinking of the whole series so far as one big arc (aka the Pink Diamond Arc), now that arc has finished, I can see 2 possible arcs that they could go, I'm pretty sure a civil war will happen after this, especially against the colonies and Homeworld itself. As much as the Diamonds have been somewhat redeemed, it still doesnt change the fact that they're intergalactic dictators. Escapism pretty much foreshadowed this. I'm also seeing that maybe after the civil war is over, maybe another species (Sneeple) attack the Gems? Idk I can see a lot of potential here.

Yeah I hope the movie actually has some impact in the series that either leads up to the next season or ties up some loose ends, etc. Don't want it to be like a pokemon movie or something where it's pretty much non-canon.

Personally I envision if there's going to be a civil war it might be between the gems that were like Jasper and don't want to change the system even if the diamonds have been redeemed so they rebel against the diamonds because they think the diamonds are now like Rose Quartz or the Off-Colors.

I personally just want another season just to give it some final touches, doesnt really have to be fancy or anything. More like a season that shows the aftermath of all that went down and what the gems do now because their sole thing they were doing is over.

I still want Jasper to have a redemption arc somehow. And we want to see Lars and Sadie get together properly!! And can Lapis finally relax now that the Diamonds are no longer a threat?
