Though it's about time for Zeref to step in and do something, anything really. Their desperate attempt to reunite with Zeref will probably be their downfall as I really doubt Zeref cares much about any of those guys. But maybe I'll be proven wrong. :(

That's a pretty neat theory! I do wish we'd find out more about Zeref since he hardly did a thing in the Tenrou Island arc.. his appearance there seemed almost unnecessary and pointless. Step aside Marde Geer! where is zeref

I'm usually "eh" over Ash ten years old the whole series as other series do that too. The Simpsons has characters the same age for over twenty years, but oddly no one questioned it. But whatever, each to their own lol.
