I have to admit I don't remember the whole ending video, so I'll have to go chedk for that R&F scene. I read once that the all-caps was a translation issue ised to emphasize their dialects, which are also unique in the Japanese version. Pretty much like, if I understand correctly, Bill in the Pokémon manga adaptions is given a texan-like dialect because he has a distinctive or similar (idiom-wise) Japanese dialect.

We can talk about Bahamut later, once I stop drooling... :P It goes as my #1 fave summon, closely followed by... Doomtrain. Yeah, I know. But, come on, it's a friggin' train!

The ship scene with red XIII is also one of my favourites in the game. It was the first opportunity to give growth to the character, and was used very well. As for the species thing, the game never stated he was the last one of his species: that was an American translation error. Buguenhaguen says, in the Japanese version, that he simply has "no next of kin", or "no fellow clanspeople", I thinkt. FFVII: Before Crisis shows that he was already mated to a female named Dine (not to be confused with Dyne), who went into isolation in a spiritual chamber just before Red was caught by Shinra. It may be that girl just resurfaced some time after Dirge of Cerberus. But then again, only two cubs? After 500 years? Someone will have to compensate for something... :D

Knights of the Round? I had no knowledge about that. Then again, given that KotR easily removes 130,000 HP from a single enemy, I don't think it matters that much. I'd rather spam BahamutZero+QuadraMagic, if to enjoy an animation that lasts a fifth of the time and deals egregious damage anyways :D

FF fics? Count me in! I'm actualy am writing three of these right now (FFVI, FFVII and FFVIII), so there went your nerdness :D -- Sorry, couldn't help that. Of course you can ask me for help, I would actually be very glad. I'm most interested in the "have Eidolons" thing. You can always provide me the minimum of information, and if I do actually need more of it I will ask. son don't worry about that.

Not much. I finished the first part of "Axle", so I'm happy about that. Don't ask why I called it Axle, I don't know. It really has nothing to do with axle's, so I'm pretty confused about it myself.

Moving on, I have an idea for a new, original story I haven't rewrote seventeen bajillion times. No title, plot, or any other ideas yet, all I know is it will be set in real places from my hometown. I'd say it here, but then it would be public knowledge. PARANOIA!

Heh, niissä kokeissa kysytään aina ihan vääriä kysymyksiä, just niitä mitä ei oo harjoitellut. XD Mulla oli sillain fysiikassa. ;) Ja se on kyllä ärsyttävää jos saa pisteen vaille E:n tai L:n, mua jostain syystä tosin jäi vaivaamaan myös se bilsasta saamani "piste alemmas ja olisi ollut E"-L, en kyllä tiedä miksi. :P Pitkän matikan kirjoitin joo, ja itsekin kyllä melko helposti teen virheitä sen kanssa. Onneksi yritän tarkastaa mahdollisimman hyvin, nytkin olin ykköstehtävässä tehnyt ihan tyhmän laskuvirheen. Englannista voisin näemmä saada jopa L:n, olen varmaan harjaannuttanut sitä roikkuessani näillä foorumeilla. ;D

Final Fantasyt ovat kyllä koukuttavia. ^^ Jostain syystä itse harvoin vedän niitä loppuun asti, kyllästyn aina kohdassa "valmistaudu kunnolla juuri ennen final battlea". Niin on käynyt jo Final Fantasy VII:ssa, IV:ssa, useassa pokemonpelissä ja Kingdom Hearts 2:ssa. :P

Ooh, Japaniin~ Itsekin olen aina halunnut sinne. Suunnittelinkin jo kerääväni lakkiaisista rahaa matkaan, mutta nyt en tiedä kun kulutin jo niin paljon vanhempien rahoja Australian matkaan. Mulla on miljoona asiaa mitä haluaisin syödä Japanissa~ XD Useat mun kaverit ovat japania opetelleet, mutta itse en ole jaksanut. Puheesta tosin ymmärrän yllättävän paljonkin, koska olen katsellut animea jo niin monta vuotta. :3

Yritän päästä opiskeleen biologiaa Helsinkiin, mutta saa nyt nähdä miten käy. Toivottavasti saan kemian YO:sta hyvän niin voin varasuunnitelmana mennä lukemaan kemiaa vuodeksi. ^^

Joo, partiossa olen. Itse voisin ihan hyvin jättää vj:n tehtävät nurkkaan, se kun on välillä aika stressaavaa, mutta meillä on vaeltajien kanssa sen verran mukava porukka et niiden kanssa on aina kivaa. :D Ja musta tuntuu että tuntisin itseni huomattavasti nolifemmäksi jos en sentään aina välillä poistuis kotoa eri partiojuttuihin. :P

Yeah, five starts from me, too. Ultimecia is a great plot problem in the game. In particular because whatever "character development" that can be assigned to her has to be, for the most part, extracted and filtered from Edea's development in Disc 2... where she only appeared in the final scenes. Great, again.

You know, Raijin and Fuujin are one of my favourite bosses in the game. They actually force you to play statregical because of the combined Zan/Numb combo. That thinks either kills your character or makes it useless, and by that time in the game I always found pretty difficult to stretch the battle long enough to enjoy them, and the dialogues, theirs were great with all caps.... RAGE!

As for your Tifa being AGodAmI by the end of the game, the same I did for Red XIII. Don't know why but it was always one of my best characters. Beat pretty much the entire Corel Train scenario with him singlepawedly. By the third time I finished the game, Safer!Sephiroth went down simply with two hero drinks and Red's Level 2 Break. I guess I loved the oddity in the character. Cid would have done well too, if he weren't that mouthfouled. Damn drink your cup of TEA!!

Don't cry that much. You'll have better chances. FFI and FFII were poted to the DS as a single game, IIRC. Wereas I'll have to fill a tearpot because I won't be able to play FFIII any time soon. And it's the only one I have never played (of the classics).

Niin, ei sille enää voi periaattessa mitään ja toisaalta minunkin pitäisi olla iloinen, että sentään pääsin kokeesta lävitse. ^^ Uusimaan vaan sitten. Viime vuonna tuli vielä luettua kokeisiinkin mutta nytten on jotenkin ollut puhti poissa, joten olen yleensä vain lukenut edellisenä iltana ja ehkä joissakin aineissa hieman aikaisemminkin. ^^

Kuten jo tosiaan tuossa edellisessä viestissäni sanoin niin aion hakea Lääketieteelliseen Oulun suuntaan mutta aluksi suunnitelmissa oli muuttaa Helsinkiin. xD Helsingissä opiskelijana on vain niin vaikeaa olla, sillä asuntoja ei anneta vieraspaikkakuntalaisille niin helposti ja vuokrat ovat aika korkeat. xP Toisaalta voisin hakea opiskelemaan biologiaa jonnekin muulle paikkakunnalle, jos en lääkikseen pääsisikään. Itse olen suunnitellut lukevani täällä muutaman vuoden ja sitten vasta hakea vaihto-oppilaaksi Espanjaan, USA:han tai Japaniin. Espanja on ollut aina ihanan kiehtova maa, jossa haluaisin asua ja sen takia olenkin opiskellut espanjaa aika paljon kun taas Japanissa lääketiede on laajempi käsite kuin täällä. Siellä on niin paljon uusia asioita opittavana mutta valitettavasti en vain ole ehtinyt opiskella japania. :P USA on nyt niin legendaarinen paikka, jossa haluaa vain asua sen takia, että siellä kaikki on periaatteessa mahdollista.

Niin, no en ainakaan itse haluaisi olla syntynyt missään korvessa mutta toisaalta en ihan Helsingissäkään. xD Omasta mielestäni Helsinki on upea paikka mutta onhan se tietysti vähän "bleh" aivan kuten totesit. ^^ Ja onhan tietysti niitäkin helsinkiläisiä, jotka ovat aika ylimielisiä ja töykeitä mutta se on vaan sellainen hypoteesi, johon ei kannata uskoa. Ainakin kaikki minun tuttuni Helsingistä ovat aivan erilaisia...

Ei, en tosiaan odottanut noin pitkää vastausta. xP Itselläni ei mennyt aivan niin hyvin kuitenkaan, sillä en oikein ehtinyt lukea niihin kirjoituksiin. :P Sairastuin influenssaan hiihtoloman aikana ja makasin kaksi viikkoa 40 asteen kuumeessa. No yritin kuitenkin lukea edeltävänä viikonloppuna ja kahtena edellisenä iltana mahdollisimman paljon ja olinkin aika luottavaisin mielin ennen koetta. : D Olin itsekin valmistautunut solubiologiaan ja sen sellaiseen ja opettelin mahdollisimman paljon geeneihin liittyviä juttuja, mikä taisi olla virhe. xD Täytyy kyllä myöntää, että saadessani sen paperin eteen masennuin täysin kun huomasin, millaisia asioita siinä kysyttiin. Emme olleet nimittäin edes puhuneet kloonamisesta yhdelläkään kurssilla saati sitten mistään savanniekosysteemistä ja kaikista hauskinta oli se, ettei edes opettajamme tienneet kunnolla, mitä synteettisellä evoluutioteorialla tarkoitettiin. xP No pääsin kuitenkin läpi, mikä on sinänsä helpotus kun ottaa huomioon etten oikein ehtinyt lukea paljonkaan. Sain kuitenkin noin 13 pistettä ja sillä saa hädin tuskin B:n eli jos vain mahdollista niin uusin tai kirjoitan biologian uudelleen. Jos saisin vaikkapa E:n tai M:n olisin todella iloinen, sillä siitä olisi lääketieteelliseen pyrkiessä enemmän apua kuin A:sta tai B:stä. xD Eniten harmittaa se, että tiedän pystyväni parempaankin ja sitten menen kirjoittamaan biologiasta niin huonon kuin peräti A:n ellei onnella B:n. :P Toivottavasti ensi vuonna muut kirjoitukset menevät paremmin. ^^

Siis eihän se ole yhtään tylsää kertoa asuvansa Helsingissä. xD Siis se vasta onkin tylsää kun kertoo asuvansa Lappeenrannassa ja lähes puolet eivät tiedä edes missä ilman suunnassa se on. :D Itse haluaisin asua jossakin hieman isommassa kaupungissa ja jossakin vaiheessa ajattelin muuttaa peräti Ouluun, sillä siellä on kuulemani mukaan Suomen parhain Lääketieteellinen yliopisto. ^^ Oletko itse miettinyt jo minne aiot hakea pääsykokeisiin?

Taidanpa itsekin tehdä ihan huvin vuoksi käyttäjähaun. xD Asun täällä Lappeenrannasta hieman eteenpäin Taipalsaarella. ^^ Niin siis siekin ilmeisesti kirjoitit biologian aivan niin kuin minäkin vai? Mitä mieltä olit kokeesta?

Ai säkin kirjoitit bilsan nyt? Itse kirjoitin fysiikan samana päivänä, ja siitä tiesinkin etten osannut kovin hyvin. Puolet osasin, neljästä tehtävästä 5-6 pistettä, puolia taas en, ja niistä sainkin sitten 1-3 pistettä. :/ Toivottavasti saisin M:n kuitenkin. Biologiasta sain sentään syksyllä L:n, joten on ainakin yksi sellainenkin~ Huomenna on pitkä matikka, pitäis siis mennä varmaan nukkumaan. ;P Sen jälkeen on kirjoitukset ohi! Ja sitten pitäisikin keskittyä... pääsykokeisiin... kesätyöpaikan etsintään... partioleirin suunnitteluun... Ääh, just kun ajattelin että ei tarvitse enää stressata. No en kyllä ole paljoa stressannut muutenkaan. ;) Mitään uutta sulla? :3

You know, about Final Fantasy VIII, one of the reasons (and the only important reason) why that game did not get a perfect score was because the lack of VAs. One of the critics cited something in the lines of "the game feels empty when you can not hear Rinoa" or something like that. Alas, after watching recordings of Dissidia gameplay in youtube, I can say VAs for FF games are turning the right way (in Japan at least).

Oh, yeah, I can say fro a distance you love the game. You really love it. And you mentioned it. The sole fact that you mentioned Palon and Porom serves as proof enough to me that you know+love the game. But the key is Rydia. Again: female sorcerers. I just am a sucker for 'em...

Well, Aeris (Aerith) is a fun story. She is essentially the PlayStation generation's General Leo, the same way Bidoof is the Gen IV Rattata (yes, the same way). The only two reasons that death is considered iconic are that (1) well portrayed with the capabilities of the time and (2) so predictable plot-wise that it triggered the Almeida Effect. This comics sums it up well, IMHO... Add the fact that people were all drooling and with no immunity over Cloud×Sephy slash at that time, and you get it.
In comparison, FFVI did not leave too much openness for shippings at first glance ('cept for LockeXCeles), and anyone who had played only the SNES generation of FF at that time would have expected Leo to simply join your party. Surprise!
As for the scene with Ice Pike Queen Edea, yeah, that is one of my fave escnes in the game (the 2nd top, actually). And, unlike most people, I actually liked Ulty. Don't know why. Oh, yeah, I am a sucker for female sorcerers. I despised her konstant kursing, however.

If you think you're a FF nerd and that I am more, I have some fun news for you: I recently played FFII. Yes, II, as in "for NES". A shame it was on an emulator... :D

W/R to Palkia and Dialga, I am very good at missing which Pokémon are when described (err.. Suicune?) :D don't know why... So don't worry.

Good to see you've got FFIV (for the DS, right?). Impretty much liked the original because of the plot and the cast of enemies. Also, female spellcasters: one can never tire of them (Rydia, Tina, Rinoa, Garret, Yuna...)
