Thank goodness it did not come out in Gen 5. Especially seeing how XY turned out. Personally I feel like Gen 3 should be in 3D as the first remake of all of the games. I am so excited for this game

I feel Emerald version will be the first 3rd game version to get a sequel. (Ex: Crystal and Yellow) When Pokemon did a poll several years ago for the most popular pokemon, the winner of it was Rayquaza, and it gave it some interesting moves for the special edition pokemon.

I feel Regigigas will be in this game to expand a bit more on the Regis. Especially for a remake, Gamefreak can put in an interesting back-story on how the Regis relate to one another, and how the trio reveals the giant.

3rd Gen starters completely solidify themselves as the best starter group with their megas. I will definitely not pick Blaziken since we were given one with the WI-FI Event torchic. Though I liked Sceptile better before, the "Do You Even Lift?" (Only Upper body of course) Swampert is too cool...

I would love to see a gen 1 Remake in 3D, just as badly as I would love to see a GSC remake in 3D. The only issue is with HGSS coming out not too long ago, I highly doubt they will make a re-remake until Gen 7 at the earliest. Quite honestly, with the new 3D engine, I would prefer a Gen 1 and 2...
