  • Lol, I'm still no master of scripting yet either, pretty much just have the basics down. :P

Haha, maths. I didn't really enjoy it until the last year, when I became utterly awesome. (Twas only Ordinary Level maths, alas). But still :P

I'm at NUI Maynooth, so.. you almost definitely have not heard of that. I'm studying Irish and Music to eventually become a secondary school teacher, though if I manage to get some kind of career as a Music Producer along the way, that would be cool :P What are you hoping to do, in Uni? And when do you get your results?
That puppet in your avatar and signature creep me out. xD
    It stares at my soul.
I was going to pick mew or mewtwo, but the 1st movie is like that, and I didn't want it to seem like I copied the anime, but they still make an appearance at the end of the game along with a bunch of other Legendary Pokemon, and I already have planned out how they clone people.
I picked Deoxys because there are no main series games that feature Deoxys, and in the game, Deoxys is way more powerful.
Ah, cool. That's definitely a good point, it's true to life in general (well, things in life, I mean). It's often better to stick to one thing than do half-assedly at others. (Half-assedly, Banjora :P)

That's kewl, I'm sure you nailed em. :P I'm going into my second year of Uni, but I have no idea when I'm supposed to be back. Still waiting on a letter/email. At the very least, I know I passed all my exams, so all they need to do is say "Oh yeah, could you come back on _______ please? Kthx."
Good, good. :P And that was going to be my next question, but I was sorta expecting an answer like that too :D Do you actually have a hack to work on, when you are motivated, as a matter of interest?

I'm good, just taking it easy and trying to enjoy the end of my summer. I think I actually have a good month left though, so it's not REALLY the end of summer, haha. Just chilling, making some music and doing the tiniest bit of hacking, lol.
Well I think generally with the way we do it is random unknowns audition and we pick from them through votes and stuff, it's a shame the really good singers wont do it, but it's not about winning anyway, in my view.

I guess we'll just have to hope someone remotely talented auditions this year.
Oh I agree, we need to appeal to the audience more, it's why we did well with Blue (and we would've done better if they were better at singing live.)
Luckily this year the public is choosing who we send, which will hopefully give us a better chance, but they've not had a great record in choosing singers in previous years...
It's not my style at all, but it's better than last years garbage.
Loreen did deserve to win, I didn't like it at first but it was in honesty an amazing song and an amazing performance, she deserved all the points that she got.
WHY DO PEOPLE LIKE MOLDOVA'S TRASH!?
Poor Humpy, it was such a shame, if he'd just been a bit better on the night we could've been like... 17th.
My favourite performance this year was Spain, I always enjoy Spanish entries and this year was absolutely amazing, such a powerful voice.
Well, undeniably some votes are political but I feel the majority of votes, especially in recent years, are based more on actual tent than politics (it's unfortunate some countries bring politics in azerbaijan but you have to live with it.]

I disliked Jedward even more after they viciously attacked the beauty of Eurovision with their rubbish.
    oh good!

Well I think it's more a competition for a singers fame. I've seen so many good songs which haven't got the votes they deserve, or even reached the finals in some cases. But I think that's a matter of opinion, what wins is what most of Europe thought deserved to win and I guess if we agree or not we just have to put up with it. I like Eurovision because you can tel the artists are having a great time and you can find new musicians you wouldn't have heard before and it's a rich cultural competition, I would love if they brought back the rule that countries have to sing in a national language because it brings such diversity and culture to the contest.
are you one of the people who believes the voting is political? I can tell you many reasons how it isn't if that is the case.

What it should be is exactly what it sounds, talented singers from countries inside the European Broadcasting Union, they should send in fun sings if they're good, proper entries to the competition, not if they're merely to make fun of it.
