Yeah, I HP was my first thought on removing too. Another eeveelution I was thinking of was Leafeon, just to try it, but the movepool on it is giving me a bit of difficulty.

Yeah, two dark types wouldn't really have paired up well, I knew that, but Umreon had been the first thought for a good status effect member.

A wall I was thinking of might have been Hippowdon, for Stealth Rock and Sandstorm effect, and with Scissor I'll have immunity against the sand storm effects...a pretty good combo you think?

I was considering Scizor on the team, with Bullet Punch. It is more of the defensive type but I've got Swords Dance hooked on it. As for Substitute, I think I'll take that into much consideration as I think it'll work out well with a Lum Berry or possibly a stat boosting berry when HP gets low. Though, what would you recommend removing from the movepool of Houndoom?

I'm trying to think of a good status effecting Pokémon to put into the team jsut for an extra boost, and I was more looking at Umbreon, but having two dark types I think wouldn't work out so well. So, I mgith consider having either a special wall or a mixed wall to be used as a slow takedown in the BT, you think it'll work?

Wise glasses is definitely something I'm putting on Genar because of it. Though, it'll really be in use when I need it against more dark types that appear. Lum Berry is something I was defintiely considering, seeing as the amount of status hax might rise above. I started working on a Houndoom at the moment, and I got this for it so far.

Hasty Nature --> I could have chosen Timid, but I'm really not up for breeding at the moment and that stupid roar is so annoying when I don't have the right Pokémon at the moment to block the effects of it.
4 HP (I might need more of this because of LO) 252 Sp. Atk, and 252 Spe
Dark Pulse
Hiddeon Power (I caught one today with Grass and I thought it'll come in pretty handy for rock, ground, and water)
Flamethrower (I'm going for more accuracy than power on this one)
Nasty Plot (If I can get in at least one NP and with LO I can do some pretty good sweeping)

That is what I have for Houndoom, what do you think? With Gengar, I can also have the benefit of blocking things with Earthquake and Fighting type moves as well.

I'm thinking of getting back into building a team. This time it isn't for Wi-Fi though, as I've got Platinum and the Battle Frontier. The Battle Tower is one of my main priorities to take down, but I'm thinking of doing it with more of an UU and OU kind of team. I've got a Gengar ready for it, fully EV'd with Hidden Power Ice, Thunderbolt, Shadow Ball, and Focus Blast, so I think that'll handle type coverage pretty well in the Battle Tower. What items would you strongly recommend using as the Battle Frontier isn't similar to having to Battle against others in WiFi or Shoddy?

I've just got to Iron Island. I really forgot how long this game was, I'm sure you can defeat all the gyms in RBY in about 10 hours lol. I've been playing for about 18 hours haha. I can't be bothered trying to catch everything this time around, since I tried doing that on Diamond...
