The Hive ~Bug Types Fan Club!~

Volbeat and Illumise would be great candidates for an evolution as well. Bug/Electric seems a good type combo for them. They were speculated to be that when 3rd generation was released. They are actually my two favourite bug pokemon.

4th Gen Which Electric Pokemon Did You Use?

I used Luxray in both Diamond and Platinum, I find it suits my playstyle fairly well. I also used Ampharos in HeartGold and while he was slower than most electric pokemon but I still liked him and suited my team well.

    5th Gen The final evolution!

I feel Druddigon is a bit too large and developed to be a single stage evolution, I feel like he should have a prevolution, just a smaller version. And Swoobat definitely deserves an evolution, I love that evolution line but they are a bit too weak.

    That Pokemon!

Whenever it's available I always have a Brelooom on my team, although he isn't available much. I have traded one over once or twice.

    What are you currently playing?

I lately picked my God of War 1 that I never finished, after that I finished God of War 2 which I never started, and now I desperately want to get God of War 3 to finish the trilogy! WAAAAHHHH. To fill in the time between right now I am playing Skyrim, still.

What do you think happens to the pokemon after their trainer has died?

I'm sure they aren't left trapped in the trainers PC for all eternity. Even if the trainer is never found after a while Nurse Joy or a Professor or someone would release these Pokemon into the wild or give possession to a relative or friend.

What do you think a Pokemons life expectancy is?

Yeah, I think legendary Pokemon are immortal, legendaries like Palkia and Dialga, credited with creating time and space, have obviously been around for awhile. I see pokemon like Ledyba living 15 or so years, and Pokemon like Snorlax living for 150 years. So mostly based on size. Although it...

5th Gen The Trail We Blaze

I disliked the linearity of the Unova region, don't get me wrong it had some great locations, deserts, snow, mountains and forests, Unova has it all. The middle of the map is wasted though, IMO. I hardly use White Forest or Entralink and they could have given it it's own island or something, and...

    The Ultimate Monotype Challenge

I believe if no Pokemon of your chosen type is available before the third gym, it is acceptable to trade over an egg of a pokemon that would be available in your game. So in your case it is perfectly legal to trade over a Houndour egg at the first opportunity you get.

Do you ever play without your starter?

I mostly play with my starter, for challenges I normally don't but in normal game play every time I have used my starter except for two separate occasions. One time I was sick of the Sinnoh starters, and the other time I just felt like not using my starter, for a bit of variety.

Honestly has this happened to you?

Occasionally I have had freezes after a lengthy time of play, needless to say it is one of the most annoying things that can happen to any gamer. I think I remember one time, on SoulSilver, I was grinding before the E4 on Victory Road, and I had gained about 7 levels spread across my Pokemon and...

The Hive ~Bug Types Fan Club!~

Yeah while it pains me to speak out against a bug Pokemon, Ariados is just a pain to raise. I used him in my HeartGold bug monotype and by the 6th gym he became hard to raise and after the E4 I just gave up on him and didn't bother training him for Red. For early game though he is a killer...

    Paranormal Activity

I love the PA franchise, I really get into it and every night I sit there, holding my breath waiting for something to happen, something worse than the night before. This trailer is fairly epic, it's interesting how they show it from the perspective of the neighbours. But I agree with Swift...

The Hive ~Bug Types Fan Club!~

au contraire! There are many bug types that could be changed dramatically with an evolution. The bugs with low base stats such as Kricketune, Ariados and Ledian could definitely use one. I also would love if Skorupi was given a branch evolution which stayed the bug type, although that probably...

Features of newer games we take for granted.

An attack being a special or physical attack based on its type. That seriously stuffed Pokemon like Manectric who was a physcial electric or Butterfree who was a special Bug/Flying type, both physical leaving them with basically ineffectual STAB attacks. When it was changed it Gen IV it improved...
