  • I LIKE STRIKEOUTS. IDK WHY. BUT FFFF WHY HAVE WE NEVER VM'D EACHOTHER SOMETHING IS WRONG HERE.
I'm going to be completely honest: no, I don't remember you. Thank you for stalking me though and not making it sound creepy. That's always a plus. And thank you for complimenting my sense of humour: always good for the ego. And thank you for the welcome back! Hopefully you'll be able to do some non-creepy stalking of my funny posts in the future.

    ---Metagross---

Metagross is an incredible sweeper, lead, wall, and supporter. Metagross can do it all, and with great typing, great Attack and Defense, and a great movepool, it's easy to see why. Metagross can set up Stealth Rock, take all kinds of attacks thanks to its long list of resistances. Explosions nerf did harm Metagross alot though as it can no longer OHKO Skarmory or anything physically defensive with a CB boom, but it still makes up for that. Metagross also gained a few new cool toys like Claw Sharpen in gen 5. It's almost like there's nothing Metagross can't do, which makes it versatile and unpredictable despite carrying rather similar movesets all the time. Its role is always changing, which makes it a unique and truly useful Pokémon and a very dangerous threat for those fighting against it.

    Metagross @ Choice Band
    Trait: Clear Body
    EVs: 252 HP / 244 Atk / 12 Def
    Adamant Nature (+Atk, -SAtk)
    - Meteor Mash
    - Earthquake
    - ThunderPunch
    - Explosion / Bullet Punch / ThunderPunch / Zen Headbutt

"CBGross" can break through even the sturdiest walls in OUs. With an Attack boost, Meteor Mash 2HKOs Hippowdon, the sturdiest physical wall in the tier. Earthquake is here for steels like Heatran and Magnezone, both are huge threats to Metagross. Explosion whilst alot weaker now can still hurt even when resisted. ThunderPunch stops waters from walling it, but it also allows Dugtrio to trap and kill it, which is something that can be taken advantage of with a little prediction. Bullet Punch gives Metagross a priority move, which is useful for netting quick kills on weakened Azelf and Gengar. Zen Headbutt on the other hand massacres Rotom-W and Swampert and also covers Gyarados and fliers like Zapdos.

Defensive Zapdos is a good counter, as is Swampert. Hippowdon and Gliscor both work, though Meteor Mash can really sting. Bronzong is effective at walling Metagross as well. Bulky waters are all good counters as long as they stay out of the way of ThunderPunch, though Earthquake can do a fair amount of damage to most of them. Rotom-W and H cause issues most of the time as they resist everything apart from Zen Headbutt. Nattorie also walls everything is can do bar EQ and it doesnt take much from those. Skarmory works too as long as it avoids ThunderPunches. Forretress can set up on Metagross too.

Metagross @ Life Orb / Leftovers
    Trait: Clear Body
    EVs: 152 HP / 252 Atk / 104 Spd
    Adamant Nature (+Atk, -SAtk)
    - Agility
    - Meteor Mash
    - Earthquake
    - ThunderPunch / Zen Headbutt

"AgiliGross" takes advantage of Agility to boost Metagross's poor Speed stat to allow it to sweep. While AgiliGross isn't very difficult to wall, a lot of teams don't have an answer for AgiliGross, and it can easily sweep unprepared offensive teams. ThunderPunch comes without a few downsides it had on CBGross. Zen Headbutt is here as Explosion was nerfed and helps with Swampert and Gyarados and Zapdos again.

Countering AgiliGross is much easier than countering CBGross. Bulky waters and grounds work and Zapdos still does too. Skarmory and Bronzong can wall AgiliGross as well, though the former could have trouble taking ThunderPunch (it only 3HKOs, however). Nattorie is lastly a full stop to this set. Most of the previous counters work even better here as this set is much weaker.

    Metagross @ Expert Belt
    Trait: Clear Body
    EVs: 252 Atk / 132 Spd / 124 SAtk
    Naughty Nature (+Atk, -SDef)
    - Meteor Mash
    - Earthquake
    - Grass Knot
    - Hidden Power [Fire]

"MixMeta" is designed to defeat most of Metagross's usual counters, and it does a very good job at accomplishing that goal. Bulky grounds and waters fall to Grass Knot while steel-types lose to Hidden Power Fire. Meteor Mash and Earthquake deal with Pokémon like Blissey, Empoleon, and Tentacruel.

Countering MixMeta is tough, but Gliscor does the job. Zapdos is still an effective counter as well, and the Rotom-H and W are decent checks. MixMeta isn't as bulky as its other sets, so taking advantage of its poor Speed and launching super effective attacks at it is a good way to beat it. Rotom-H agains walls it to heck and back. Shiburidon makes a great check as nothing Metagross does can hurt it much.
Oh, I see. Pretty much the same here. Will get a few days off since my FINAL exam ends on 23rd of this month. I'll probably free for a month. But after that..well, I'll have to work very hard. Especially because I wanna join a prestigious college. :<

And it is fine, really. Make it when you are comfortable with it. How long was the spring break, anyway? We don't have those over here, actually. Only summer and winter breaks.

And Gawd, you should seriously NOT think like that! If a bufoonhead like me can make decent tags, it should be a piece 'o cake for you! :<
    Yeah, she sure is. She is just amazing with colors. <3;

So, how has life been, bro? Oh and yeah, thinking of making another gallery/reopening last one anytime soon? :P
Ignoring everything else, I'll just respond to this:

Team ICO and Naughty Dog are one of the most revered studios these days, with Polyphony Digital being the creator of the most famous driving simulator ever. And Team ICO games have affected almost everyone, not just Sony fanboys. Shadow of the Colossus and Ico are referred to as art more than any Nintendo series, that can't be a small feat.

And Nintendo games sell like hotcakes because everyone knows that Zelda and Mario are a quality series. Pikmin didn't sell nearly as good as Twilight Princess and Super Mario Galaxy 2 partly because Gamecube sales sucked, and partly because people can't trust new IPs.

Your profile is much prettier since I posted.
Yes, but for the sake of simplicity online, I choose to be female only.
You won't ever see my male character online except when I'm speaking to a few close friends or family members online.
