  • Yay.~ As soon as soon can be would be great.

Also, I hope you had a good break for the holidays. :3
Been sorta busy lately but now I can work on it. I have about half done.

EDIT: Decided to cut the post short.
The key is to look at the release dates of upcoming Nintendo titles, which is what Sakurai's been doing since Pikmin 3. Expect Diddy on February and Yoshi on March (Yoshi's New Island now has a release date).
No problem. I'm always glad to have some interaction, even if my characters aren't XD
    Of course. Remember that pokespirits are physical fusions, not humans in pokemon themed clothing. I tried to avoid that because it's a lot less interesting. D;
You can label her whatever you want ICly. Just as far as the classes go in the SU she'd need to be labeled a cannibal.
I've actually put some thought into this regarding what a goodra spirit wielder would look like. My recommendation is to give her body some elastic or jelly-like qualities and simply move on. Ditto are basic, so unfortunately their pokeform aught to be basic as well.

Think of it this way. Sure it might be basic, but why would she ever be in her true form when she could mold her body to be anything she wants anyway? She could even take on a more comfortable or more 'ideal' body.

And yes. A mawile pokespirit is definitely carnivorous and would likely make it very hard to live off of thievery due to her body changing to be more like a carnivore's. She'd be classified as a cannibal regardless. The classes are very simplified like that, meaning a thief who sometimes scavenges is still a thief and a cannibal that sometimes steals or even most of the time is still a cannibal as far as classes and class bonuses go.

Sinnoh's overall climate is... chilly. I'd compare it to New England, though possibly a bit colder than even that. (I've never been anywhere else I can compare to.)
Everywhere that isn't Hearthrome, Jubilife or the Underground basically. :P
Not at all, because survival in such cold weather is borderline impossible without some pretty heavy heating, namely electricity. The only people that you might find up there are the occasional ice pokespirit wielder and ghost pokespirit wielder. Fire pokespirit wielders could survive up there, but it would be very uncomfortable for them. Same for Steel. Ice and Ghost wielders are generally immune to hypothermia. Other typings wouldn't want to be there for an extended period of time.
Eh, pretty good. Not much in the way of gifts, since most of my Christmas was a flute that I got a few months back. How was yours?
Rosalina's confirmation caught me off guard because her reveal trailer tricked me into thinking Kirby was going to be in the new Mario Kart title. Then there's the Rainbow Road stage from said trailer (we know that the 3DS version is getting the MK7 track, so who knows). Starfy's return as an assist trophy shows that Sakurai still dislikes him as hinted on his character profile on Brawl's website. Zelda's TP was to be expected due to Link still using his TP design. Expect King Dedede to be revealed next month due to Kirby Triple Deluxe's release date in Japan.
PP is not something that will be used in any way during fallout. It's just convenient for explaining transform's mechanic. As far as I'm concerned, copycat and mimic can last indefinitely though most users should have trouble retaining mimic/copycat through sleep. (Psychic/Ghost types should be able to retain mimic past sleep, not that ghost types are known for sleeping.)

And yeah, that's more or less correct. I don't think that hyphen in the middle is grammatically correct but the name is right.

And... yes. Almost every pokespirit was once alive before the virus hit. They would also remember the old days, and could relay this information to their wielders verbally. (Pokespirits are capable of mental communication with their wielder, but no one else.)
    Of course!

A pokespirit can force someone to absorb them, but that pretty much ends the list of aggressive things a pokespirit can do. They have little to no power on their own. They cannot take over the body of an unconscious person because being knocked unconscious is more of a physical condition than a mental one. Same brain same concussion, or whatever, so to speak.

It is however possible for a pokespirit to take over the body of a weak willed or willing host while they are still conscious. When I say weak willed I don't mean dumb. I basically mean someone who isn't necessarily willing but doesn't try all that hard to stop the pokespirit either. Things like depression or overwhelming emotions can cause states like this, but short of that anyone who can put their foot down and say no shouldn't have much trouble stopping a pokespirit from possessing them.

In an ideal healthy relationship between the two, a pokespirit is an auxiliary consciousness that steps in only during moments of weakness to protect the wielder or when asked. Say a brand new wielder is being attacked and is scared of fighting. They're overwhelmed and can't defend themselves. This is a time where your average pokespirit would indeed step in and attempt to briefly take control for the wielder's safety.
I actually think a time limit isn't remotely fair to you. :P I think vaguely saying that it's very tiring to fight in the form of another pokespirit wielder would do just fine. The fact that it's only when fighting allows you more creativity to use your one and only power which I personally think would make for a much more enjoyable experience on your side. As long as you're not fighting, personally I think it's fair enough for you to stay in the form of someone else or something else as long as you please. This could be useful for things like stealth and other such shenanigans.

My logic for this is based on the fact that you only get 5 PP for any given move. My headcanon tells me that the only reason ditto lose their transformation after battle is because they would very quickly run out of energy if they didn't take breaks. :P

Also, pokespirits free themselves from their user upon death. At this point the spirit physically manifests itself, and nearby spirit wielders are capable of absorbing it. The time a spirit remains near the old user after their demise varies heavily but is usually no more than an hour or two at most. (During this time a pokespirit is grieving or coming to terms with the loss of their partner. Pokespirits have an understanding that they need to help humans, and will never reject a new wielder even if they have personal issues with that wielder.)

There are ways that ghost type pokespirit wielders or pokespirit wielders with ghost type powers can absorb the pokespirit out of a living person, but this process is just an extension of ghost pokemon's soul eating tendencies and usually kills the victim.

    You're welcome. :P
