  • Hey, Darth I was pretty curious when will the next release for DarthTME be?

    It is a very useful tool and is gonna be perfect once you get that select button to work along with the fill bucket one.

    By the way, and I just remembered this, can you get rid of an "invisible item" (the ones that use Signpost events) without actually picking it up? I tried setting the Hidden Item ID in AMap to 10, then setting flag 10, but that didn't work.

    Oh, haha, I forgot I left you a message. I had asked about how to take the modular 18 of a reverse dword so I could write an asm routine that could identify the species of your lead pokemon. But then I found a "release specific pokemon" tutorial wich explained that special 0xBA will store the species of your lead pokemon in a variable. So, I guess I don't need that routine, but thanks for following up.

    Also, I left you a pm, but do you have an ETA on the OW patch? Just wondering. Thanks

    Edit: Today I was experimenting with your item hack on Ruby to create a "portable p.c." (access your pc just by using the item) but when I went to go test it out, everything went grey. So, I opened up the dissassmbler in VBA and tried again. I noticed that the same thing happened again, but now I could see that r15 was cycling through every possible number. When it reached FFFFFF, the game reset and began the title sequence. Any thoughts?

    Do you know how I could make a script that checks the player's party for a certain type (ex: Fire-type) of Pokemon?
    I just saw your edit. I was gonna ask though, there is no "812ED1E", only "12ED1E". PKSV adds an 8 to offsets, not sure why, so am I editing the right thing? It just caused a freeze.

    Kinda a big question -- how would I go about removing the Fire Red into entirely?

    (I expect this to all be in a hex editor obv) I figure that there must be a pointer somewhere leading to that script, and in that script is a command to warp to your room in Pallet Town, right?

    If that's true, I could just edit the script to only have the warp part of it, so upon starting the game you go immediately to your house. Problem is, I have no idea where to look/if I'm even on the right track and I thought you might know something about it.
    Yeah, we agreed that Hack of the Year was enough. This was the case last year. I am genuinely sorry if this disappoints you, though. I'm afraid we just agreed that it was best not to have Emulation take part.
