Well, considering I've never been surfing I can't say which is easier but all the paddleboarders I met were chill and all the surfers were a wee bit douchey.

Hawaii was chill. Lots of relaxing on the beach. It would have been nicer if I wasn't constantly checking on Light Platinum's thread, though.
