I've kinda got over the jetlag - I slept for sixteen hours in total yesterday which basically got all of the sleep out of my system. I'm not going to be staying up until 2 A.M for a few days, but at least I'll be able to manage staying awake during the daylight hours :P

So looking into the hex codings and stuff would need to be done, so one thing I need to figure out... is the coding that defines the objects such as the trees would be a great way to start off with, so until I've done a little edit value here and another edit value there. Surely it will count towards the research, I can understand that the research and development is solely based on having the knowledge of what hex codes to edit and so on. Thanks for letting me know, there's still many things I have to yet learn about how to find which code defines this and that. Since I do mainly focus on the Pokémon Black/White ROMs mainly. Though I did edit a Pokémon Platinum's map data with the snow in Twinleaf Town, which I did mess up the texture rendering of course. xD And one thing I yet have to find out... is to find the value that edits the possition of an object. I could be missing some knowledge on how to figure out what values change what.

That won't be as much of a problem because ALL the front sprites will be shrunken. For instance, the B/W sprite of Smoochum is the exact same size as Smoochum was in Gen III. However, since all front sprites will be shrunken in order to maintain aspect ratio in relativity to another sprite, this means that many Pokemon's front sprites will be even smaller than they are in Gen III. So I think it will look just fine, though it might look a bit weird with some larger Pokemon...
