I love dawn's team but I think my overall favorite trainer team now is Korrina's.

Maybe cuz it's korrina's team....although she does have some rather nice looking and powerful choices too.

Also, Lucario <3 One of the best dog pokemon. Not just cuz korrina use's him; he's just cool in general really xD

My brother has extra comedies starting from 2 to 4 today i was surprised to hear it. Gave me enough online time to consider returning. Glad I did. the only thing that bothered me was all those anime boards somehow vanished xD Outside that, my forum stayed very peaceful :)

Well, May definitely should have beaten Zoey, because she was more experienced. But logically she should have then beaten Dawn...it would have been better if they'd matched things up differently, really. Or had Dawn ultimately come out on top in the Grand Festival finals. Inconsistency in the anime is something that really bugs me.

Piplup, if only for the Gible Draco Meteor running gag. I remember one episode where they got separated and Ash had the idea of using that to locate Piplup...that was just ridiculous. xD

But it doesn't make much sense, is my point. I suppose it's an important part of her development as a character, but for May to have beaten Zoey made Dawn's victory feel more like luck than skill. Zoey was always the better co-ordinator, after all.

I quite liked that Jessie got as far as she did, too. Although I suppose there weren't too many rivals for Dawn (thank god, RS's rivals were awful!) so they needed to fill the spots out for the Grand Festival somehow. Although that never stopped them just adding random people into the league for Ash to lose against...

It helped that contests in DP were much more interesting than they were in RS, too. There was so much more effort put into the DP anime in general. The only inconsistency Dawn had in her development was the Wallace Cup...how she managed to beat May - an experienced co-ordinator who had just trashed Zoey, who was always a step ahead of Dawn and ultimately won the entire thing - is beyond me.

I just think that she has the best character development of any character in the anime to date. I've never liked the tendency protagonists have to always win their battles, and Dawn losing a lot and having to actually analyse her technique, rather than just being "a natural" or whatever was refreshing.

Oh nice! you should post some of your art in the Art Studio if you're able! I'm sure many people would enjoy seeing it.

Hmm, kind of hard to decide on one favorite. The original, first series of Pokemon holds a special place in my heart but I admit I'm a fan of any series that includes fairies! n_n
