Besides, I remember reviving a thread once and getting it closed and oh my goodness I felt so embarrassed because the mod replied and announced to the world that I revived a thread.

In case you're wondering, though this is just how I handle thread revivals, but I just delete the post instead of closing it. I feel like closing it is unnecessary when it was already dead (usually people find them by searching or looking past the cut off date that forums are set to) and it's only one post that bumps it. Though there isn't anything wrong with closing it either. But I figured you would have noticed that I didn't close them and wondered "Why isn't he closing them?" so I thought to tell you why I didn't.
