I've spend about 2 or 3 years and haven't really gotten far into it, myself. There really is a lot to it.

I'm just a random nerdy guy, who does weird things like playing video games, doing some programming, nerding about Pokemon, maybe taking a walk every now and then and stuff. I know, sounds boring. {XD}

It's alright. With all the stuff that one has to deal with, worrying about VMs should be the last thing one one should do.

I love my job! It's a fast paced job in a busy gift store and my team is awesome and funny so I always have a good time. I consider myself lucky. :)

Fun should always be the main reason. No real purpose in a hobby, if it doesn't make fun doing it. Competitive especially is one of these hobbies where fun really matters, because of all the stuff that you'd need to learn. It's what most people see as offputting, because there really is a lot to learn. {XD}

Our third tortoise is really small. It has a box as it's temporary home, because it's too small to live in our backyard with our two other tortoises, who are much larger.

Are you more into the real competitiveness or is it more casual fun to battle with the stuff you like?

Idk, I'm still kinda looking for the community aspect of it, tbh. I'm even in a PCL clan, though the one I'm in doesn't really feel like a clan. <_<
Also, I'm not too good, so I still need to work on my battling skills. {XD}

They do live a really long time, but I have no idea how old they are now, and we've recently got the third tortoise a few months ago, and we still don't know its age.
