In that last post I meant to say not all of the antagonists would be evil. As for the ash blocking out the sun, I had the hemisphere where the planetoid crashed, being occupied by erratic storms and the clouds would be dark but I guess there is a major difference. I was debating on Another city being an underwater biodome and it would be the second most advanced city although, while traveling there would be subject to attack by various "creatures" and in order to reach it, you have to get caught in a artificial whirlpool. The underwater biodome would be unreachable aside from s hidden small cove. The whirlpool would be something of a legend, but only the sort of thing shipwrecked sailors would support. Not going to use the biodome idea until I get my first city done in total.
