  • Ok, I did some research on living in Singapore, and looked into job oppurtunities and their requirements.

    HOW DID YOU LIVE?
    Well, what about Malaysia then?

You know, I looked up apartment prices for Singapore, and a ONE bedroom OUTSIDE the city centre is $1,500 USD.

It makes me wonder if there's no-bedroom apartments that I could get and sleep in my living room.
Is Malaysia English-friendly? I'm wondering since I'm hoping to move VERY far away from my home country when the time comes, and I don't want to have to learn Malay (at least, not before I move).

I... just can't stand the blind consumerism and the ghastly amounts of excess in my country, and I believe that it's a pipe dream to fix itself, so I'm gonna bail when I'm adult. Emancipate and expatriate, if you will.
Well, I don't think a forum would be the best idea until I can find another VPS to host PokéSphere on. (Yes, the domain is fine, thank heavens one thing is still working.)

Is it possible for you to give me SSH access? I'm really comfortable with WinSCP and Putty, using them so much on PokéSphere. If not, I'm fine with FTP access. :)
Omigod omigod omigod YESSSS! Please! :D Can it be alex.whateveryourdomainis?

And about PokeSphere... Apparently my host, RaxWeb, had shut down their frontend servers back in January, and recently (in June) their backend went offline as well. The message on their frontend server said that it'd all be back up by three months ago, and well...

Lookd like I'll have to find another VPS host. They were a sweet deal, too :^/
I like how TinyPic uses shortened image URLs (which Photobucket doesn't do), but the spam ads are a total waste of time.

Instead, I decided to be my own image host, and hook up a directory on PokéSphere's server for images. However, for some reason even PokéSphere's IP address won't accept HTTP requests anymore, so :(
Hey, I'm in need of a hand.

I'm trying to upload an image to TinyPic, but I keep getting this popup forcing me to watch an advertisement. When it asks me to enter the "security" code, I type into the box "**** Off Corporate America". But, it doesn't work. Can you help me? I'm telling the spam box what I really think of it and it won't listen!!!
You mean on profiles here or YouTube channels? I didn't think anyone used an actual video here other than to give the big space above the profile. :3
