My favorite is the Dusk Ball, mainly because I fell in love with its color scheme some years ago. It's also got that little dark-aura effect, which I think is cool. I also like the Premier Ball, because I think design-wise it's pretty clean and simple.

I don't often have Pokemon where I keep status inflicting moves, but I do favor the sleep or paralysis inducing moves catching Pokemon or dealing with troubling opponents. Moves that inflict poison or burn needs to be something that deals damage too, for me.

Can't say what I would keep registered in the Gen 6 games, but most often it's either the bike or a fishing rod. In Gen 5, I register those two plus the Dowsing Machine and Town Map.

Yeah, I definitely thought that when I as younger, hahaha. I also thought that, somehow, there was a higher chance of the Pokemon staying inside the Pokeball if you didn't look the screen.
