Hmm other books let's see, I mostly read through what others have suggested me. I have never been into young fantasy literature that everyone seems to be into so much, I don't know it just puts me off.

I think House of Leaves is my favorite, I also liked Lord of Flies, The Dark Tower series, The Catcher in the Rye, The Road and many others.

It just so happens a good portion of what I truly enjoy either falls under heady, postmodern, philosophical fiction or sardonic humor (and once in a while a glorious combination of the two).

Your tone was very passive aggressive and showed resentment towards mcpon14's comment, which discussed how they don't like entitled homeless people. Entitled homeless people are very difficult to deal with, because they want as much as they can get out of you. Not every homeless person is like that, but some are, and your comment suggests that their attitude is justified, which it is not.

I'm not really mad at you or anything but your post implies an aggressive attitude towards their comment. It's not clever or witty, it just comes off as mean, especially considering that you refused to elaborate on your statement.
