Harpie's Brother narrowed his barely visable eyes, ready for a good fight.

I flickered my tongue. Something smelled fishy... and it wasn't David.
"What do you mean?" I literally hissed. "People can't just own other people!"
The feeling of being trapped here made me want to leave all the more.
I looked around with my snake eyes. Yeah, it was great we could change into animals and all, but something was wrong.
I closed my eyes again, willing myself to change back into a... what? Should I try gong for human, or back to the half-snake? I decided to go with half-snake. I could try human...
I sat on a park bench. My head was bent over as I flipped through a book. It was a book about dragons. I had always had an interest in dragons. Breathing fire was cool. Since I had always been able to command fire, it seemed cooler than that.
