To avoid confusion, I want to make it clear here that the old "demo v1" and "demo v2" versions of the game were discontinued and scrapped entirely several years ago. The main post has been updated to reflect the current state of development.

Actually, saffron will have all pokemon including gen 8. And yes i’m using the cfru, but not as a base but rather a supplemental piece that is being improved upon. So saffron actually will include moves/abilities and effects that are not included in the cfru.

When it's done of course! Anyone can do a playthrough, no need to ask. I love watching playthroughs to get feedback In demo v2 Type: null was a "secret" pokemon, so it's not included in the pokedex. This isn't the case in the upcoming version.

The next version will end after the elite4+champion battles. The release after that will explore a smaller second region. Don't worry about this issue. I've already recreated the image in higher quality. The intro cut scene has not changed at all 👍

I apologize, I found the image online and was unaware it was used in a hack. It will be removed in the next release of Saffron. However, the image is just an indexed version of a screenshot from the original Pokemon movie, so I will recreate it and use my remake.

No i did not. the cfru has too many pieces that are incompatible with what's already in saffron. i may take time to fix the inconsistencies down the road if possible. if you're crashing at the start than you patched it over a bad rom. there's two versions of firered 1.0 out there and only one...
