I am currently dex nav chaining for a shiny and was wondering if the chain of 40 increases the odds does it continue to increase when the chain is around 200?

Thanks but you didn't really answer my question with stuff that isn't already available and that I know from having done it before. I want to know if Chansey or the Father has to be from the different region as with other shinies I bred it was with Carvanha (male) Carvanha(Female) etc but...

Question on Shiny Breeding I have a quick question as I want to breed a Shiny Chansey, does the Chansey need to be from another region with the father being from my game or does the father need to be from an alternate region?
