It's somewhat all the way round..If you soft-reset when losing from elite four for example, you lose all the experience.. I lost only once (twice, when you count the soft reset) in DP for example, and both the losts were from the champion of Pokemon league/E4, I didn't do the soft-reset-trick on...

We should make an online-gym called Gyms of Kanto, or something like that, and the gym leaders would have to use same pokémons with same movesets that the trainers in LGFR and RBY used. So who would want to be one of the gym leaders?

I bet noone has ever came up with this.. But Pal Park is a GSC reference. You ask how? Well.. There was a time machine in GSC, and you could trade with gen 1 games..And now in Gen 4, you can trade with Gen 3 games..
