Well, it just sort of came to me while sitting in class, and I wrote an outline for what happens. I suppose part of it is I'm on some level involved in that kind of culture (not really with the hard drugs, though), and so it's what I'm most familiar with. And through the course of the book he gets introduced to various scenarios, and ultimately he comes to the same conclusions about life as I do. Things like, homosexuality is perfectly fine and normal, drugs (or at least, weed,) should be legal, materialism isn't good, etc.

Haha, second term of college just started up for me. It's not exactly difficult, but it's been boring me so far. My Cultural Anthropology professor is such a bore, which is unfortunate since it's a subject that I find interesting.

Well a brief summary:

It's about a teen named Alex Cassian who gets kicked out of his parents house after being beaten and disowned for getting arrested for smoking weed. He moves in with a good friend from high school and things go downhill after Alex gets jumped by some kids and his roommate moves out. Then another friend comes to Alex with a solution to his financial problems, and convinces him to sell cocaine.

It starts off being a bit silly and carefree, but once he gets arrested it quickly turns much more serious.

Yeah, didn't have any plans for the weekend so I'll probably spend it lazing about. In a few weeks I get my college refund though, so I'll be able to do some things like head to the beach.

Well there are many ways to answer that.

On a serious level? Waiting to hear back from any of the agents who I've sent my book to, with the hope I might find one to represent and ultimately publish me.

On a less serious note, browsing the internet on a lonely Friday night.
