Books aren't that hard to write, I think... Of course, I don't have much of a life to begin with, so sitting through hours' worth of writer's block is no biggie :P I feel like writers have a shorter life span than normal people sometimes

Exactly! Writing is a required tenth grade class, and I had Creative-damn-Writing, and in the entire class, aside from grammar and other things, we just wrote a lot of essays. Where's the creativity in that? Damn school system

And teachers care more about what you didn't have in your writing than what you did

I don't think that creativity can be taught per say... I mean, techniques, yeah, but the skill itself nope

It really seems like school was made to just keep kids off the streets for seven hours, 'cause whatever you learn in school can be learned just the same with textbooks at home
