  • Not yet. Fennekin or Froakie. I'll decide last minute probably. What did you pick?
I bet that'll be annoying for sure. Still analyzing new Pokemon so you can come up with new competitive sets?
Yeah and it was kinda funny I got my stat spread predictions spot-on. Chespin's line being strong in physical-based stats (Attack and Defense) but the slowest of the three, Fennekin's line having specialty in the special-based stats and Froakie's line being speedy mixed attacker with glass cannon like defenses.
Maybe he rushed through the game? I expect whenever I get my copy I'll end up taking my time.
Oh! I thought you meant you had to go to a Gamestop or something. Let me wipe the egg off my face now.
I liked the whole "fighter, mage, thief" concept with the Kalos starters. It really suited their respective second types in the final stages.
Yeah, in fact Fennekin learning Psychic was all that many needed to point out that it would eventually end up a Psychic-type at some point when it evolved.
Hmm perhaps. Do you have X&Y yet? If you got a male Fennekin, do tell me if it's true!
Delphox has been revealed to have a decent movepool so far, a bit more diverse than I thought plus it has potential as a good special sweeper. Chesnaught does learn Mud Shot thanks to Quilladin in the trailer so it does have some decent counter for Fire-types.
According to Serebii, Chesnaught's Hidden Ability is called Bulletproof and it protects the user from ball and bomb-based moves. Delphox also gets a Hidden Ability called Magician which allows it to steal the item of the Pokemon it attacks.
Yeah that ability combined with Greninja's decent movepool could really see it have an impact on OU, I don't believe we've had a starter do so well in the tier since Infernape. All of Unova's starters ended up in lower tiers so this would be a nice change of pace.
You know PD, what are your thoughts on 6th Gen Pokemon that might make a huge impact competitively? I've heard that Aegislash seems to have an interesting thing going for it thanks to its unique ability. And there's also that Contrary Malamar set you shared, it'll make great use of Superpower.
I... thought I was. I thought you just had to download it and that was it. I didn't know you had to pick it up.
I love to spoil myself rotten :D

Oh, but no, I don't like spoilers usually.
Wah. Everyone's going to be finished with the game by the time I get mine and I might accidentally see big spoilers.
