Yeah, it's only tomorrow that Australians will be getting their copies! I'd imagine what it'd be like if they uploaded loads of footage and the Americans got spoiled.

Australians usually always were behind with past games. We were actually last when it came to the international releases for Red/Blue and Black/White, heck we were even first to get Gold/Silver when the international releases came. Everything else we were always after the US and before Europe.

With X/Y's worldwide release on the 12th, Australia passes over into the date first so we get to play first (although it could cause spoiler issues for the US), then Japan, Europe and finally the US.

Well, Australia is one of the first countries that passes over into a new date. Around 2 hours after New Zealand.

Canada gets Polar Pattern so that's the one that will be on your game. I still don't know which pattern my region is getting yet but given how early they'll get the games on release day I'm sure someone will leak the pattern that Australia gets.

They make me super hyped!!! I seriously can't wait now. Only 2 days awayyy

Also, Vivillon gets different wing patterns based entirely on which country your game comes from. Given Australia gets the games before most other countries on the release day there's a good shot I might be able to see which Vivillon form I'll be getting if someone shows it on Tumblr or something.

Yeah, it seems like more will be breeding just to get the right type now.

Yeah, so many moves and abilities getting changed this gen... Hidden Power now always gets 60 BP, and now this. Weather team players will now have to use a backup plan like Rain Dance/Hail/Sandstorm/Sunny Day etc.

Weather inducing abilities such as Drought, Drizzle, Sand Stream and Snow Warning now confirmed to last only 5 turns in battle.

I have to say that looks really good. Can't wait to see what other possible sets involving Kalos Pokemon you can come up with.

Yeah, I love the concept with Flabebe's line. It's really interesting how it bonds with the flower and then eventually the flower becomes part of its body as a Florges, sorta reminds me of Wormadam having her cloak become part of her body.

I may end up using Togekiss if I can't get a 6th Gen Fairy onto my team. But otherwise I might use Sylveon.

Yeah I will, I've grown to love a lot of the Fairies revealed so far and they did a good job making the designs look quite diverse.

Love them all! And yeah I'm glad Water got the speedy starter this time around, it was well-needed.

Yeah Greninja sure is awesome, even if that tongue scarf looks weird at first. It along with Frogadier definitely gave Froakie the fans it needed.

They look really great, even if 4-slot syndrome will be a problem.

Yeah, it will basically wall Garchomp's STAB moves and easily check it with a super-effective Fairy move. I'm also hoping that Talonflane gets more Fire STAB moves.

Okay, so after analyzing those Talonflame stats it appears that it fits the role of a speedy mixed attacker. That's definitely a first for those early-route birds especially given all the other birds have been almost purely physical-inclined. But they all have the high Speed, that's one tradition with them. Learns Tackle, Roost, Razor Wind and Fly.

I really want to see it learn more Fire moves, especially after seeing it have all these Normal and Flying-attacks. It needs some Fire STAB.

Also on the subject of Togekiss, it gains two additional weaknesses from the new Fairy typing but it's now 4x resistant to both Bug and Fighting. I bet this new typing means Togekiss is now a true wall against Bug and Fighting-types given the 4x resistance. Can't wait to see what Fairy moves Toge's line will learn.
