If this 'new' region were to lie to the west of the Sevii Islands, I'm not very confident that it would actually be completely new, per se: if you compare Bulbapedia's map of the Orange Archipelago to its map of which real-world locations the Japan-based Pokémon regions are based on and overlap...

Hey, wait a minute: Bulbapedia's article on the Sevii Islands says in its 'Origin' section that the archipelago is based on that of the real-life Izu (and Bonin) islands! Does this mean that we're returning to the Sevii Islands!?! I'd really like to go back there since some of those islands'...

Perhaps we could get maps with a level of detail more along the line of those used in the Prima guides as we progress in the game, and maybe NPCs could give us better hints about where the more difficult-to-find field item Poké Balls are and/or information on Pokémon availability like those...

When it comes to all of the speculation that these leaks have spawned, I'm adopting more of a 'wait and see' approach when it comes to source validity. What we've seen so far in terms of possible new information could turn out to be entirely true, completely false, or anywhere in between...

Yeah, it is rather random, isn't it? Does anybody have any idea why this particular group of Pokémon is being promoted on that page? Pikachu, Sylveon, Mega Lucario, Ash Greninja, Zygarde Core, and Zygarde 10% Forme I get, but why Clefairy, Diglett, Wobbufett, Mew, Latios, Gengar, and Espeon...

I think that, maybe, they should give it some neighbors in its evolutionary line, too, but that's neither here nor there…
