Hmm, We had a team away day on Friday where we took this personality test - which gives you an overall result based on four main colours (and mixes in between, so like orange, purple etc).
Fiery Red - Be brief, be bright, be gone.
Cool Blue - Give me details.
Sunshine Yellow - Involve me.
Earth Green - Show me that you care.
Reds tend to be leaders, blues are good at in depth analysis, yellows want to get involved and greens are good coordinators. Something like that anyway. Out of the BI team of 10 people, we had 3 blues, 3 greens, 2 yellows, 1 purple (between blue and red) and 1 red. I was the red and my role title is Director. My line manager is thinking about changing the BI team roles up based on the results of the Insights personality assessment. At the moment all BI analysts have the same objectives - carry out the same duties etc. But this may now be tailored to each individual in the future which I think would be great.
I had a point to make by telling you all of this but I've kind of lost track now >_<
