    I don't think you can improve your chances. Getting Pokerus is based on luck. If I remember correctly, the chance of encountering a Pokemon infected with Pokerus is about 1/3 of the chance of finding a Shiny Pokemon, so make sure you spread it to other Pokemon when you get it.
