Lol, don't worry, you'll get it. That's what I do if something doesn't work- go and do something completely different. Music is usually my escape, haha :D
Oh, right- I have actually heard of Advance Placement, now you mention the full name (not from the friends, I heard it on TV a couple times, which is why it didn't click the first time). Well, my exams, the Leaving Certificate, is a bit like that, I guess. (good to know I don't seem a waster, by the way, thanks. Not that people call me that or anything, sometimes people just hear "year out" and assume that. But.. Yeah. Thanks :)).
Anyway, I have good friends who're home schooled, although for the last year they've to go to a school, to do the exam that I'll be doing soon. It would be pretty interesting to be homeschooled- albeit a bit strange. Although you'd be used to your parents teaching after a couple of years, no doubt.
Ireland's... Nothing like the Ireland portrayed on most TV shows. The drinking stereotype is non-existant (at least, Irish people really drink no more than English people would, etc.). Again, not saying you'd assume that- it's just the standard Irish explanation, lol :D. The weather is also pretty random, last summer was terrible, whereas it was pretty warm/sunny in the winter.
Anyway, Ireland is a lot more advanced than TV shows let on- ironically, the Simpsons gave an accurate portrayal, showing Ireland as Europe's technological centre. (or something similar, lol). It's... Good. I mean, we have good colleges and stuff, for a tiny country.
I was actually born in Canada, and we lived there for a time, but only until I was 4 or 5. I'd love to go to... Anywhere else in the world, just for a difference. Going back to Canada would be cool, but I'd love to visit Japan or America, or even just England. Anywhere, really.
So, what'll you be studying in college? (good luck with all your academic endeavors, btw.).
