It feels better, haha. Although it's not easy stepping down, that's for sure.

A lot of things have changed in the past few months alone, and I can't dedicate as much time to PC as I would like. I'm not leaving, just stepping down so someone else with more energy can take my place.

Nope, I started by doing a 2 year apprenticeship. The same company took me on as full time staff after it was over! We have government schemes here to learn on the job, so I did my courses while earning money and it was all paid for by the company/ the government :) like i said, I got crazy lucky thinking about it now.

Nope! I got very lucky I'm afraid! I'd probably be paid better now if I did have a degree under my belt though! Sorry for making you jelly, I guess when you live it you don't realise how lucky you are :o

oh wow a degree! I went straight into work when I left school so the best I have is a NVQ in IT professional level 2, but should be working towards my level 4 in the near future, how are you finding degree level computing? and you could probably teach me a thing or 2 about office suites, definitely not my strong point :P

Well my areas are pretty much whatever someone asks me for help with... consoles, pc's, phones (mobile + Desk phones), tablets, servers (hardware and software) I'm also a certified PAT tester. How about you? It's never just one thing with technology right? ;)
