You must call it Pedobear. With a game full of children and creatures, I think it is necessary.

The only shiny I actually encountered was a shiny Golbat in victory road on "Diamond", I gave it my master ball and traded it to my "Pearl" and haven't touched it since. I think of Shiny Pokemon like legendary's I just see them as trophies and will likely not touch them.

I treat them as Trophy's, catch them but never touch them.

I'm not really a fan of any of the 4th generation Pokemon, the starters are horrible as well. I think so far I like Luxray and some of the legendary Pokemon, but that is all haha.

The other thing is in the metal games, "Shininess" was determined by IV's so shiny Pokemon were basically guaranteed to have high stats, that Red Gyarados for example.

I really like the shiny steelix sprite, the color is awesome. They captured the metalic effect well.
