That sounds like so much fun! What did she dress up as? We did some pumpkin carving ourselves at home for the holiday. It brought a smile to my face.
I have question for you! Of past costumes you have worn, what is your personal favorite. For me I remember being a bride of Frankenstein once, and I had a pretty elaborate get-up. I also made a good vampire countess once. One of my earliest memories dressing up for Halloween was in day-care, I insisted that I wanted to be a skeleton or "bone legs" as I called skeletons when I was 3 or 4. My mum bought me a cute skeleton costume to wear to daycare that glowed in the dark.
That's awesome to hear that your sibling is getting married next year! You're full of glad tidings for me, and I love it!
I miss Deep Discussion too, though I am glad we still get to have serious discussion ultimately. Having the two sections was nice because there is so much content total and the types of content vary greatly. Who knows? Maybe one day deep discussion will split off into it's own section again. Off topic conversations were once all in one place both light and heavy. Then it split and became two distinct sections of the forum. Now it's unified into one again. Maybe it will go through another metamorphosis some day? For now my friend Dimitri and I will do our best to keep it a lively place and foster both fun and serious conversation for all of y'all. They've been such anamazing and helpful partner for me.
Thank you for your many encouraging words! They mean a lot to me.
You are always a wonderful voice in Off-topic. It's great to have you hanging out with us in so many different topics. I appreciate your two cents, you bring up some good points and are very positive.
The cake badge can be won in different ways. It could be making a birthday for someone or yourself, holding any kind of event for Off-topic like the marathon a month challenge would also qualify for the badge, creating a thread to celebrate any holiday like Christmas, Hannukah, Thanksgiving, Easter, Valentine's Day. Frequently wishing others good will on their birthdays, or spreading the joy when someone announces other important events like their wedding, child birth, anniversary. The cake badge will follow wherever the festive spirit resides!
Thank you also for all that you have said about The Clubhouse. I love that intimate little place, and try my best. I am very happy that our community has survived and growing like a budding plant. You have been a good owner to the Animal Crossing club, and we're lucky to have you on board. I look foward to hosting another event at the end of year for all club of month winners like yourself to participate in and hopefullly win prizes. I want to make the winter festival an annual thing.
On the Cottonee, I did give it a name. I think it's a kinda cute name, and you come up with fun and creative names so it might fit on your team. I still remember all the cool, quirky names from your Emerald playthrough. I could tell you the name I made up now and you can exercise veto power if it's too much of a surprise. Or I can just keep it a mystery until the promised trade day. The choice is you.
Let me know what works for you!
