Ah, I'm pretty suprised! I was under the impression that basically we would have to abide by whatever rules that the EU made for us regardless of what we wanted. But that's what I get for listening to Irish peope moan xD
I'm pretty sure thaough that if the EU suggest that such things as Abortion or Gay marraige should be imlemented that they actually will be. I noticed that most of the more disadvantaged areas of Ireland or the poorer districts if you will, voted NO, majorly. I think it is because they feel it means less money and that they will suffer even more than they are right now and won't have enough money to pull through. Then again there will also be a decrease in social welfare funds so the unemployed will get less money from the government.
As long as this depression or lack of money is gone by the time I look for some place to work, I'll be happy as I'll have very little to fall back on, I'll need a job when I'm studying!
